This assignment does not include a firsthand kitchen test, so there is no honest way to report how the Ninja CRISPi fared in the author’s kitchen. What can be established is what the original CRISPi is, how its bundles differ, and what named reviewers report from their own tests. This guide keeps those findings separate so you can judge whether the design suits your cooking.
What the original Ninja CRISPi is
The original Ninja CRISPi is a portable cooking system: a removable PowerPod sits on top of a CleanCrisp glass container. That makes it different from a conventional drawer-style air fryer, where the food basket slides into a fixed countertop appliance. SharkNinja lists four functions for the original system: Air Fry, Max Crisp, Bake, and Recrisp. The company specifies 1,500 watts for the product listing linked below.
The exact container set depends on the model and bundle. SharkNinja’s listing names 6-cup, 2.5-quart, and 4-quart CleanCrisp containers, with storage lids listed as accessories; that does not mean every kit includes all three sizes. Check the contents for the specific model you are considering on SharkNinja’s product page. Container and lid accessories have specific model numbers, so confirm compatibility with your CRISPi version before buying a replacement or extra piece.

Food Network’s test
Food Network reviewer Taylor Murray says she tested all four functions—Air Fry, Max Crisp, Bake, and Recrisp—and cooked chicken breast, zucchini, and frozen fries. Murray reports good browning and crispness in those tests. Those are her observations, not a guarantee that every food or batch will turn out the same. RTINGS’ tested variant
RTINGS identifies its test unit as the Cyberspace FN101GY and notes that retailer offerings and included container sets vary. Its findings therefore apply to that tested variant, not automatically to every CRISPi bundle. See the RTINGS review for its assessment and test details.
What to check before choosing a bundle
- Included containers: Match the bundle’s actual sizes to the portions you plan to cook; do not infer the contents from another model’s listing or photographs.
- Storage workflow: If you want to cook and then store food in the same vessel, check whether the relevant storage lid is included or sold separately.
- Replacement compatibility: Compare accessory model numbers with your system before ordering containers or lids.
- Cooking expectations: Use the manual’s guidance as a starting point and assess the particular quantity and food you cook. Results reported by another reviewer do not establish performance for your recipes or batch sizes.
Do not confuse the original CRISPi with CRISPi PRO
CRISPi PRO is a separate countertop model, not a larger setting or bundle of the original portable PowerPod system. In an October 15, 2025 announcement, SharkNinja described PRO as supporting a 6-quart container, offering six functions, and using precision digital temperature controls.
