Kehinde Owolabi’s DEV Community walkthrough describes a single-player 2D platformer implemented in one JavaScript file with Limn Engine. Its three named levels are Caverns, Towers, and Boss Arena. The described flow includes menu, gameplay, pause, settings, level selection, game-over, and win screens, alongside enemies, a boss, moving platforms, collectibles, hearts, and on-screen controls. These are features reported in the walkthrough, not confirmed by independent testing.

For collision resolution, the walkthrough describes comparing overlap along the horizontal and vertical axes, then resolving the collision on the axis with the least penetration. The entity is snapped out of the tile; when that correction represents a landing, its grounded state is set, which enables jumping. This is a compact tile-platformer approach, but the article does not provide independently verified implementation details such as numerical tolerances or edge-case behavior.

Enemies
The walkthrough describes enemy behavior in patrol, chase, and return phases. That gives an enemy a simple state-driven pattern: move along a route, pursue the player when appropriate, then return toward its patrol behavior. Moving platforms
For moving platforms, the described logic tracks platform displacement and applies that movement to a rider. In principle, carrying the rider by the platform’s change in position avoids leaving the player behind as the surface moves.
Boss and other level elements
A custom BossEnemy class is named alongside PatrolEnemy and MovingPlatform. The walkthrough also mentions collectibles, hearts, spikes, and a boss arena, but it does not establish independently tested details about combat patterns, difficulty, or balance.

What is known about the source code and live game
The walkthrough links to a GitHub repository and includes code excerpts. A separate DEV introduction says the full source was still underway and would be released later. The available material does not resolve whether the repository was subsequently completed, whether its link remains current, or whether a live demo is still available. It would therefore be inaccurate to promise that the complete source can currently be downloaded or that the game can still be played.
