Amber Technology plans to demonstrate two NAD Masters Series systems at the 2026 StereoNET Melbourne Hi-Fi & AV Expo: an M66 preamplifier with two M23 V2 power amplifiers, and an M33 V2 streaming amplifier with bookshelf speakers. The event is scheduled for October 16–18 in Room 3317 at the Pullman Mercure Hotel & Events Centre in Albert Park, Melbourne. The preview was published October 3, before the show, so it reports planned demonstrations—not listening results.
Where and when to see the NAD systems
The StereoNET Melbourne Hi-Fi & AV Expo is scheduled for October 16–18, 2026, at the Pullman Mercure Hotel & Events Centre in Albert Park. Amber Technology plans to show both systems in Room 3317. These event details and configurations were reported by StereoNET on October 3, 2026.
What will be demonstrated
M66 and two M23 V2 amplifiers: the separates system
The announced separates setup combines NAD’s M66 BluOS streaming DAC-preamplifier with two M23 V2 stereo power amplifiers, driving floorstanding loudspeakers. The M66 brings streaming, digital-to-analog conversion and preamplifier functions into one component; the two M23 V2 units provide the power amplification. NAD describes the M23 V2 as using second-generation Purifi Eigentakt amplification. Its manufacturer-rated output is 200 W per channel into 8 ohms or 380 W into 4 ohms, and NAD also specifies 700 W when bridged. These are NAD ratings, not independent measurements. See NAD’s M23 V2 announcement and Masters Series collection.
M33 V2: the integrated system
The second setup pairs bookshelf speakers with a single M33 V2 BluOS streaming DAC amplifier. NAD describes the M33 V2 as combining streaming, DAC, preamplifier and power-amplifier functions in one chassis. Its 2025 announcement also identifies an ESS ES9039PRO DAC and MQA Labs FOQUS and QRONO technologies. Those are manufacturer-described features; they do not establish that this system sounds better than the separates setup. Details appear in NAD’s M33 V2 announcement.

The comparison is about architecture and the announced configurations, not a matched test: the systems are paired with different speaker types, and the speaker models are not named. The cited preview does not provide a complete bill of materials, so the electronics figures do not include a known price for speakers or accessories.

What the preview does—and does not—tell you
The planned demonstration gives visitors a chance to compare a separates layout with an integrated amplifier in the context of the show’s chosen speakers. It does not establish which system sounds better: the event had not yet taken place when the October 3 preview was published, and no listening impressions from the Melbourne room were supplied.
NAD Product Manager Cas Oostvogel described the M33 V2 by saying, “NAD is the first company to address psychoacoustic timing issues along the entire signal path,” in NAD’s 2025 announcement. This is a manufacturer claim, not an independently established comparison or evidence of audible superiority.
