The Motorola Signature is the stronger fit on the listed processor and screen refresh rate; the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max 5G is built around a much larger battery and faster wired charging. There is no reliable universal price winner in the cited information: Motorola’s price is for the UK, while Xiaomi’s specifications are from India, so the figures do not form a like-for-like comparison.

On the listed processor tier, the Signature is the more compelling fit: it uses Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, while Xiaomi lists Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 for the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max. That is a specification comparison, not proof of a particular speed advantage in everyday use, gaming, heat management, or sustained workloads; those require comparable independent testing.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Motorola also lists a higher maximum refresh rate: up to 165 Hz on its 6.8-inch 1.5K panel, compared with up to 120 Hz on Xiaomi’s 6.83-inch 1.5K display. Maximum refresh rate can depend on settings and the content being shown, so the listed peak is not necessarily what you will see at all times.
Which phone has the better battery and charging setup?
Xiaomi lists a 10,000 mAh battery and 100W wired HyperCharge, compared with Motorola’s 90W wired charging. The Signature’s listed charging options also include 50W wireless charging, plus reverse charging. The cited Xiaomi specification pages establish wired charging but do not establish wireless charging for every regional variant.

Battery capacity and charging wattage alone cannot tell you which phone lasts longer between charges or how quickly it charges in normal use. Xiaomi advertises up to three days of use, but that is a manufacturer claim based on its own testing, not an independent head-to-head result.

A fair price difference cannot be calculated from these sources. Motorola’s UK page showed £900 and an £850 displayed offer price for the listed 16/512 GB configuration when checked; Xiaomi’s cited India page provides specifications but no corresponding price. These are different markets and do not establish which phone costs less where you live.

To compare prices meaningfully, use the same country, purchase date, retailer type, and storage tier. Check local listings for the exact model numbers and configurations rather than converting the UK price into another currency and treating it as a local street price.
