The Motorola Edge 60 Pro is the better fit if you want a listed 3x optical telephoto camera, faster rated wired charging, or wireless charging. The moto g86 power 5G prioritizes a larger stated battery and lists more storage in Motorola’s cited regional specifications. Which is the better buy depends on which of those features matters to you—and on the price and configuration available in your market.
Key specifications at a glance
This comparison uses Motorola’s US specifications for the Edge 60 Pro and EMEA specifications for the moto g86 power 5G. Those pages describe different regional variants, so confirm the exact local model and configuration before buying.

How the phones differ in everyday use
Performance: the Edge has the higher-listed chipset
The Edge 60 Pro’s Dimensity 8350 Extreme and the G86 Power’s Dimensity 7300 put the Edge ahead on the listed processor specifications. That does not establish how much faster it is in real use: the cited pages do not provide a comparable benchmark result. For both phones, actual performance can also depend on the specific regional model and software.
Storage and memory: more listed storage on the G86 Power
Motorola’s cited EMEA page lists the G86 Power with 512 GB storage and 8 GB physical RAM. Its US Edge 60 Pro page lists 256 GB storage, with 8 GB or 12 GB RAM options. On these pages, the G86 Power has more listed storage, while the Edge gives buyers a choice of RAM configuration. Check the local SKU, since configurations can vary by market.

Battery: capacity favors the G86 Power
The G86 Power is listed with a 6,720 mAh battery, compared with 6,000 mAh for the Edge 60 Pro. Motorola’s 2025 launch announcement says the G86 Power offers “up to 53 hours of power.” That is a manufacturer claim, not a result from an independent runtime test, and it should not be read as a guarantee of a particular number of hours for every user.
Charging: more options and higher ratings on the Edge
The Edge 60 Pro lists 90 W wired charging, 15 W wireless charging, and 5 W wired power sharing. The G86 Power lists 30 W TurboPower charging. These are rated capabilities, not a direct comparison of time to full: charging results depend on the charger, conditions, and usage.
Displays: similar headline resolution and refresh rate
Both phones are listed with 1.5K displays and refresh rates up to 120 Hz. The Edge’s 6.7-inch display is specified as pOLED with a quad-curved design; the G86 Power’s 6.67-inch display is specified as AMOLED with an adaptive refresh rate. The figures describe the listed specifications, not a measured comparison of brightness, color accuracy, or outdoor visibility.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteCameras: the Edge’s listed hardware is more versatile
Motorola’s cited Edge 60 Pro specification lists a main camera with optical image stabilization, an ultrawide camera that supports macro, and a telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and optical image stabilization. The cited G86 Power excerpt does not provide its full corresponding rear-camera configuration. The documented Edge setup therefore supports a more specific case for focal-length flexibility, but the available specifications do not establish which phone takes better photos overall.

Durability: both list the same ratings and standard
Motorola lists IP68/IP69 and MIL-STD-810H for both models in the cited pages. Those manufacturer-listed claims do not prove the phones will behave identically under every real-world exposure or impact.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Price difference: a regional snapshot, not a universal price
In a Motorola Netherlands storefront snapshot accessed on October 7, 2026, the Edge 60 Pro appeared at €499.98 and the G86 Power at €329.99—a difference of €169.99. These are displayed prices for that storefront and date, not a market-wide comparison or a promise of current pricing. Prices and availability can vary by country, retailer, and time.
For a useful buying comparison, check both models at the same retailer and on the same day, and compare the exact memory and storage configurations. A price gap can change the value calculation, especially if local listings differ from the configurations shown in Motorola’s regional specifications.
Which phone should you buy?
Choose the Motorola Edge 60 Pro if you prioritize
- A listed 3x optical telephoto camera alongside main and ultrawide cameras.
- Higher rated wired charging and wireless charging.
- The higher-listed processor specification, while recognizing that the cited specifications do not quantify a measured speed advantage.
Choose the moto g86 power 5G if you prioritize
- The larger stated battery capacity.
- The 512 GB storage configuration listed on Motorola’s cited EMEA page.
- A lower price, if that advantage holds for the exact local models and current listings you are considering.
What to verify before buying
Motorola notes that specifications may vary by market. Because the cited pages cover different regions, compare local listings for the exact model rather than assuming every configuration is available where you live.
Quick Recap
- Confirm the regional model, RAM and storage configuration, and network-band compatibility.
- Check the software version and support information shown for the local model.
- Compare current prices for equivalent configurations at the same retailer.
- If camera performance is central to your decision, check the local G86 Power camera specifications and seek direct comparative testing rather than inferring photo quality from megapixel counts alone.
