The Moto G86 Power is the better fit if you want an AMOLED display, sharper resolution, and stronger listed water-and-dust protection. The Moto G57 Power offers a larger battery, a slightly larger screen, and a headphone jack. There is no reliable, like-for-like current price comparison here: prices and specifications vary by country and storage variant, so compare the exact models sold in your market.

Which phone has the better display?

The G86 Power has the more advanced panel on paper: its AMOLED screen has a higher resolution, HDR10+, and 10-bit color. That makes it the stronger choice if display technology and image detail are priorities. The G57 Power’s LCD is slightly larger diagonally, at 6.72 inches versus 6.67 inches, and Motorola lists a 120 Hz refresh rate for it. The G86’s refresh rate is adaptive and reaches up to 120 Hz.

These specifications describe the panels, not a measured comparison of brightness, color accuracy, or outdoor readability. Don’t assume one phone is better in those areas without comparable testing.

How do their processors compare?

The G86 Power uses a MediaTek Dimensity 7300, while the G57 Power uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 4. Those names identify different chipsets, but they do not establish which phone is faster in everyday use or gaming. The specifications cited here do not provide comparable independent performance tests, so choose between them based on the features and exact configuration rather than an unsupported speed ranking.

Which phone lasts longer on a charge?

The G57 Power has the larger stated battery capacity: 7,000 mAh compared with 6,720 mAh for the G86 Power. Motorola’s regional pages also advertise different maximum-use estimates: up to 60 hours for the India G57 and up to 50 hours for the US G86. Motorola’s 2025 G86 launch announcement reported up to 53 hours.

These are manufacturer estimates, not results from a controlled head-to-head test. The advertised figures come from different pages and markets, so they do not establish how much longer either phone will last for a particular person. Screen settings, signal strength, apps, and usage affect real-world battery life.

Do charging and storage match across regions?

No. The G57 Power’s listed charging rate is 33 W on Motorola’s India page and 30 W on its UK page. The cited G86 US specification lists 30 W TurboPower. Storage also varies: Motorola lists the G57 at 128 GB in India and 256 GB in the UK, while its US G86 support page lists 512 GB. Confirm the storage and charging details on the exact regional SKU; the model name alone is not enough to identify them.

What do the water-and-dust ratings mean?

Motorola lists IP68/IP69 for the G86 Power and IP64 for the G57 Power. The G86 therefore has the higher stated ingress-protection rating. These ratings indicate tested resistance under defined conditions; they do not make either phone indestructible or guarantee protection from every spill, immersion, or form of damage. Follow Motorola’s guidance for the specific regional model, and do not treat a rating as permission to expose a phone to water unnecessarily.

Is there a price difference?

A dependable price difference cannot be stated without matching country, date, seller, and storage configuration. The available Motorola India product-family listing showed the G86 Power 8/128 GB at a listed MRP of ₹19,999 and a displayed price of ₹16,999 in a crawl-time snapshot. The observation date and whether that offer remains valid are not established, and there is no matched current G57 price to compare against it. Treat those figures as a snapshot, not a current or universal price.

For a useful comparison, check both phones at the same time and in the same market. Match storage tiers where possible, and compare the final price from the same type of seller, including any delivery fees or conditions attached to an offer. Motorola’s regional pages show that storage and charging can differ between markets, which is another reason not to infer a price winner from model names alone.

Which one should you choose?

  • Choose the G86 Power if you value an AMOLED display, higher listed resolution, or the higher IP68/IP69 rating.
  • Choose the G57 Power if you prioritize its larger stated battery capacity, slightly larger display diagonal, or headphone jack.
  • Compare the exact local variants if storage, charging, or price will decide the purchase; official regional specifications differ.
