The Miele Compact C1 Young Style PowerLine SCAB3 is a bagged cylinder vacuum, and its operating instructions document the model. But the available official specification page is for the related SCAF3 variant, not SCAB3. That distinction matters: SCAF3’s stated power, dustbag, accessories, weight and other figures cannot be treated as SCAB3 specifications. The evidence supports a careful model-specific overview, not a verdict based on hands-on cleaning tests.
What the SCAB3 documentation confirms
The SCAB3 operating instructions identify the Miele Compact C1 Young Style PowerLine SCAB3 and cover operation, maintenance, supplied tools and optional accessory categories. They establish that it is a bagged cylinder vacuum. The instructions are hosted by Manualzz rather than on Miele’s own domain: SCAB3 operating instructions.
A current official SCAB3 specification sheet was not established in the available product information. Consequently, the SCAB3’s exact rated power, bag code and capacity, filter, floorhead bundle, included tools, noise rating, weight, operating radius and current availability cannot be confirmed here.

Miele France’s official page describes the related Compact C1 Young Style PowerLine SCAF3, material number 10658410, EAN 4002515825747, in obsidian black. Its figures are useful for identifying the variant difference, but should not be used as a specification sheet for SCAB3.

What to verify before buying an SCAB3
Dustbags and filters
The SCAF3 listing specifies a HyClean FJM bag and AirClean exhaust filter, but the SCAB3 bag code and filter configuration remain unconfirmed. Check the exact model designation on the vacuum’s rating label and consult the SCAB3 instructions or Miele support before ordering replacement consumables. Do not assume an FJM bag fits solely because it is specified for SCAF3.

Floorhead and included tools
The available SCAB3 instructions list optional accessory categories, including TurboTeQ, hard-floor and parquet brushes, and AirClean Plus, Active AirClean and HEPA AirClean 50 exhaust filters. These categories do not establish which floorhead or tools were supplied with a particular SCAB3 package. Confirm the included equipment for the exact model and target market; verify accessory compatibility against the appliance model before purchase.

That is context for SCAF3’s floorhead, not proof that an SCAB3 is bundled with an AllTeQ or that its floorhead behaves identically. See the SCAF3 manual excerpt.

Is the SCAB3 worth buying?
The documents establish the SCAB3 as a bagged cylinder vacuum and provide some guidance about its maintenance and optional accessories. They do not establish enough model-specific detail to judge its cleaning performance, ownership costs or value against alternatives. No hands-on testing or firsthand ownership evidence is available here, so there is no basis for a performance ranking.
Before committing, ask the seller to confirm the exact SCAB3 model, the box contents, bag and filter codes, accessory fit, warranty and return terms. A product listing that only says “Compact C1 Young Style” may refer to a different variant; the SCAF3 figures above are not a substitute for those checks.
