That estimate is the page’s own presentation of the plan; it is not a guarantee of your realized cost per successful, unique capture. If your workload repeatedly hits the monthly allowance, validate the current overage or upgrade terms directly with Microlink rather than assuming additional requests are included.

Search is not the same as screenshot Free
Microlink Search materials describe Search as paid from the first request, while the screenshot page advertises a free daily allowance. Therefore, a free screenshot account should not be treated as free Search access. Confirm pricing and limits for every endpoint your application will call.
Cache hits and quota planning
A Microlink high-volume link-preview page says cache hits do not count against quota and describes paid plans as starting at 14,000 monthly requests. That usage guidance differs in scope from the screenshot page’s 46,000-request Pro example. Model both total calls and cache misses. A workflow that repeatedly requests identical URLs may behave differently from one that captures constantly changing pages. Also ask whether cache rules, TTL, and cache-key controls are available on the exact plan you intend to buy.
Function limits are endpoint-specific
Microlink’s SDK documentation gives separate execution limits for its function method. These are not general limits for screenshots, Search, or every API endpoint.

If your implementation uses custom functions, check these constraints separately from the screenshot plan quota. A function that exceeds the Free execution window or needs off-origin requests can fail even when the account has not exhausted its request allowance.

- List the API operations. Separate screenshots and PDFs from metadata, Markdown or text extraction, Search, and custom function calls.
- Estimate monthly calls. Count the expected calls by operation, and distinguish repeated URLs from genuinely new or changing pages.
- Check cache treatment. Determine whether cache hits count for your use case and whether configurable TTL or custom cache keys are important to your design.
- Match features to plan. If you need proxy resolution, custom HTTP headers, or cache controls, confirm which current plan includes them. The screenshot pricing page lists these among Pro’s paid features.
- Confirm the actual price. Check the live page and checkout for your location, currency, taxes, and product. The screenshot price page and calculator display different currency/amount combinations for the same stated 46,000-request example.
