The MediaTek Helio G70 is an octa-core 4G smartphone chipset with two Cortex-A75 performance cores, six Cortex-A55 efficiency cores, and Mali-G52 MC2 graphics. MediaTek lists CPU speeds up to 2.0 GHz and 1.7 GHz respectively, and a GPU speed up to 820 MHz. Reported benchmark results vary by test version and handset, so treat them as device-specific observations rather than guaranteed scores.
MediaTek Helio G70 specifications
MediaTek’s product page describes the platform’s advertised capabilities. Phone makers choose how to implement those capabilities, so a platform maximum does not guarantee a particular phone has that configuration.

MediaTek’s product page lists LPDDR4x, while its launch infographic depicts LPDDR3 configurations as well. Actual memory and storage choices depend on the handset design. Likewise, the camera and display figures describe platform support, not a promise about a phone’s sensors, screen, or image quality. MediaTek’s Helio G70 specifications provide the current listed capabilities; the launch infographic shows the earlier configuration context.

The official specifications list 4G LTE and do not list 5G support. Wi-Fi support is listed as Wi-Fi 5, not a newer Wi-Fi generation.

HyperEngine
MediaTek says HyperEngine dynamically manages CPU, GPU, memory, and network behavior for games. That is a vendor feature description; the available benchmark reporting does not isolate or independently quantify HyperEngine’s contribution on a G70 phone.
What Helio G70 benchmark scores have been reported?
Two sources report results from different benchmark generations and contexts. Their figures should not be read as a controlled head-to-head comparison or as scores every G70 phone will achieve.
| Source and test | Reported result | Context |
|---|---|---|
| NanoReview, AnTuTu 11 | 317,084 total; CPU 119,757; GPU 36,247; Memory 55,989; UX 105,091 | Aggregator result |
| NanoReview, Geekbench 6 | 417 single-core; 1,345 multi-core; GPU compute 949 (OpenCL) | Aggregator result |
| NanoReview, 3DMark Wild Life Extreme | 181; 98% stability; graphics test 1 FPS | Test-specific graphics workload |
| 91mobiles, AnTuTu (version not stated) | 195,041 total; CPU 71,091; GPU 41,061; Memory 40,797; UX 42,092 | Page describes this as its highest recorded G70-device score, based on real-world testing |
| 91mobiles, Geekbench 5 | 388 single-core; 1,292 multi-core | Real-device compilation |
These are source-reported figures: NanoReview’s Helio G70 results and 91mobiles’ benchmark page. AnTuTu and Geekbench scores from different versions are not directly interchangeable. Results also depend on the phone, software, memory, cooling, and test conditions; the cited reporting does not establish a controlled cross-device laboratory comparison.

NanoReview lists these gaming results for the Realme C3, its identified G70 test device. They are observations for that handset and the listed settings, not universal frame rates for every Helio G70 phone.
| Game | Reported frame rate | Setting |
|---|---|---|
| PUBG Mobile | 31 FPS | High |
| Call of Duty: Mobile | 30 FPS | Low |
| Shadowgun Legends | 52 FPS | Low |
| World of Tanks Blitz | 52 FPS | Ultra |
| Mobile Legends: Bang Bang | 53 FPS | High |
NanoReview notes that game version, operating system, and other factors can change results. A GPU benchmark score and an in-game frame rate also represent different workloads, so neither substitutes for the other.

Notebookcheck describes the Helio G80 as slightly faster on paper, with a 100 MHz higher A55 clock and a 130 MHz higher GPU clock than the G70. This is a specification comparison, not proof that every G80 phone will outperform every G70 phone in everyday use. Phone cooling, software, memory, and other implementation choices affect device-level performance. Notebookcheck’s Helio G70 reference provides the comparative context.
Quick Recap
How to judge a Helio G70 benchmark or phone comparison
- Match benchmark versions. Compare the same version and preferably the same test protocol; keep results from different versions in separate comparisons.
- Check the handset. RAM, storage, screen resolution, cooling, and software can influence observed results even when phones share the chipset.
- Separate peak scores from sustained use. A short benchmark result does not establish long-session gaming speed. The cited sources do not provide a controlled thermal comparison among matched G70 phones.
- Check connectivity separately. The G70 platform’s listed cellular support is 4G LTE, and its listed Wi-Fi support is Wi-Fi 5; compare those capabilities with the specific alternative you are considering.
- Read gaming figures with their settings and device. Frame rates need the game, graphics setting, handset, and source context to mean anything useful.
