Neither ring is best for every situation. The Lucky Ring adds +1 luck, while the Iridium Band combines glow, item attraction, and a 10% attack-damage increase. Choose the Lucky Ring when you want luck-related effects; choose the Iridium Band when visibility, collecting nearby drops, or extra combat damage matters more.

What does each ring do?

Lucky Ring: +1 luck

The Lucky Ring adds one point to your luck stat. Luck influences several game systems, but it is not a universal percentage boost: its effect can be small or large depending on the activity. See the Lucky Ring and Luck entries for details.

Iridium Band: light, item attraction, and damage

The Iridium Band combines the effects of the Glow Ring, Magnet Ring, and Ruby Ring. Its item description says it “Glows, attracts items, and increases attack damage by 10%.” That makes it a utility-and-combat package rather than a luck bonus. The Iridium Band and Magnetism entries explain its effects.

Which ring should you use?

Priority Better fit Why
Luck-related outcomes Lucky Ring It adds +1 luck, whose effects depend on the activity.
Visibility and collecting nearby drops Iridium Band It includes glow and item attraction.
Direct attack damage alongside utility Iridium Band Its stated attack bonus is 10%.
Using a ring available with your current progress Depends on your save The Lucky Ring is found through panning; crafting the Iridium Band requires Combat Level 9, though alternate drops are possible.

If you have both and your loadout allows it, swap rings to match the activity. The decision is about which effect is more useful for what you are doing—not a universal ranking.
