If you hear your own voice in your Logitech G430 while you speak, lower its Sidetone control in Logitech Gaming Software to zero or turn it off, if the control is available. Sidetone plays your microphone input back through the headset; it is different from muting the microphone.
Turn down Sidetone in Logitech Gaming Software

Open Logitech Gaming Software and select the G430 in the device selector, if it appears.

Open the G430 audio or microphone settings. Look for Sidetone.

If you find the control, drag its slider all the way down or switch it off. Speak into the microphone to check whether the local voice return has stopped.

A copy of the G430 user manual describes a Sidetone slider for adjusting how loudly your own voice plays in the headset. The exact control may not appear in every software version or setup. Logitech’s G430 configuration instructions document a microphone input slider and mute controls, but do not mention Sidetone. Treat the slider as an option to check, not a guaranteed menu item.
If Sidetone is missing
Check the active recording device and the voice-chat app for a microphone monitoring, “hear myself,” or similar setting, and turn that monitoring down or off. The documented G430 material does not establish a verified menu path for those controls, so their location depends on your operating system and app.

The G430 supports USB audio through its included adapter and analog 3.5 mm stereo. The connection and the software active on your computer can affect which controls are available. Logitech’s release-era specifications list Logitech Gaming Software 8.45 and Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8; those historical entries are not a promise of compatibility with current operating systems.
Use microphone mute only as a quick test
The G430’s inline microphone mute can help confirm that the sound is tied to microphone input: mute the mic briefly and see whether the voice return stops. But mute also stops your voice from being transmitted. It is not the right permanent fix if you want to keep talking without hearing yourself. Logitech notes that the physical mute switch and its software microphone mute are independent controls.

Check whose echo it is

You hear your own voice in your headset as you speak: Sidetone or microphone monitoring is the likely cause. Reduce the Sidetone setting if available, or check monitoring in the active OS or app.

Other people hear an echo of your voice: That is different from local Sidetone. Ask whether the echo is audible to you or to the other call participants before changing settings; the steps above address voice return in your own headset.
