The Logitech G PRO X2 SUPERSTRIKE is a premium wireless gaming mouse built around configurable main-button clicks. Its Haptic Inductive Trigger System (HITS) lets you adjust when a click registers, when the button resets, and how strongly it vibrates. That is its clearest advantage for players who want to tune click behavior; it is not proof of better aim or match results. The trade-offs are its high price, no left-handed configuration, no dedicated DPI button, and a specialized feature set that may matter little to casual players.
What makes the PRO X2 SUPERSTRIKE different?
HITS replaces conventional microswitches in the main buttons with inductive sensing and haptic feedback, according to Logitech’s product page. Logitech says the mouse offers ten actuation points, five rapid-trigger reset points, and six haptic intensity levels.
Actuation is the button travel required for a press to register. Reset is how far the button must return before another press can register. Adjusting those points lets users tune how the main clicks feel and behave. The haptic setting controls the intensity of the feedback. This flexibility is the mouse’s defining feature, but whether it is useful depends on whether you want to customize click behavior.

Pros
Adjustable click behavior
The ten actuation settings, five reset settings, and six haptic levels give the main buttons more adjustment than a conventional fixed-click design, as specified by Logitech. TechRadar found the configurable actuation and tactile response compelling in its review. This is the strongest reason to consider the mouse if you want to experiment with click feel and response.
Lightweight wireless design
Logitech Support lists the mouse at 60 g and gives dimensions of 125 × 63.5 × 40 mm. TechRadar reports 61 g in its 2026 review and describes it as light and comfortable. Those are separately attributed figures, not a single agreed measurement. Logitech lists LIGHTSPEED 2 wireless support and includes a 1.8 m USB-A to USB-C cable; its support specification is at Logitech Support.

High stated sensor specifications
Logitech specifies a HERO 2 sensor with up to 44,000 DPI, over 888 IPS, and 88 G acceleration. These are manufacturer specifications and describe sensor capability, not a promise that using the maximum settings will improve your play.
Quiet clicks and smooth glide, according to one reviewer
TechRadar praised the mouse’s quiet clicks and smooth glide during its review. Those are subjective observations from that reviewer, not guarantees of how every user will experience the mouse.

Cons
Premium price
Logitech’s U.S. product page displayed a price of $179.99 when accessed in 2026. TechRadar listed $179.99, £159.99, and AU$299.95 in its 2026 review. These are market- and date-specific listings; check the price in your region before buying.
The click technology may not be worth it for casual play
Tom’s Guide cautions that casual competitive gamers may not notice a large benefit from faster clicks. If you do not want to adjust actuation, reset, or haptic feedback, the mouse’s main differentiator may not justify paying a premium. Logitech’s focus on esports development is product context, not independent evidence of better tournament performance.

No left-handed configuration or dedicated DPI button
TechRadar flags the lack of a left-handed version and the absence of a dedicated DPI selector. Either can be a deal-breaker if you need a left-handed shape or regularly change sensitivity using a mouse button.
Minimalist button layout
TechRadar describes two thumb buttons and a basic scroll wheel. That straightforward layout may suit players who prefer fewer controls, but it is less suitable if you want many programmable buttons.

Who should consider it?
The PRO X2 SUPERSTRIKE is most compelling if you specifically want to adjust your main-button actuation and reset behavior, value haptic feedback, and are comfortable paying for a specialized competitive-gaming mouse. Its lightweight design and stated sensor capabilities add to the appeal, but they do not establish that it will improve your results.
It is a weaker fit if you are left-handed, want a dedicated DPI button, need more than two thumb buttons, or mainly play casually and have no interest in tuning clicks. Shape and hand fit also matter: compare those with the mouse’s dimensions before choosing it.
How it compares with other premium mice
TechRadar describes the Razer DeathAdder V4 Pro as a similarly priced premium alternative with a more ergonomic shape and optical switches. Tom’s Guide discusses the PRO X SUPERLIGHT 2 and lower-priced alternatives in the context of the Superstrike’s price. These are review comparisons, not controlled head-to-head rankings. Compare price in your region, shape and hand fit, weight, button layout, wireless and wired-use needs, sensor and polling specifications, and whether adjustable actuation and haptics matter to you.
