Short answer: Both LiveReacting and OneStream Live offer cloud-based ways to stream prerecorded content on YouTube, but the better fit depends on your run length, number of channels, and whether you need live-production tools. LiveReacting says its dedicated 24/7 plan has no service-side duration limit; OneStream’s help article sets a 30-day maximum per scheduled run. OneStream’s help and pricing pages do not clearly agree on which plan unlocks 24/7 streaming, so verify the exact entitlement and total at checkout before choosing.

If you want a simpler cloud option, StreamNeo is #1 to try for a single always-on YouTube stream: it loops uploaded videos in the cloud, supports any uploaded quality up to 4K 60fps at one flat price per slot, and gives you a first day free.

LiveReacting vs OneStream Live: at a glance

What to compare LiveReacting OneStream Live
Prerecorded video as a live stream Supports prerecorded video or music, playlists, and starting or scheduling a stream, according to its product page. Supports scheduling prerecorded videos using local or cloud-stored files, according to its help guide.
24/7 stream duration Its dedicated 24/7 plan is described as having no service-side duration limit, subject to destination-platform limits. This is the vendor’s description, not an independently tested result. Its help article states a maximum of 30 days per scheduled 24/7 run.
Concurrent streams Confirm the number of simultaneous channels covered by the plan you select; the cited product-page details do not establish a comparable allowance. Confirm the number of simultaneous 24/7 streams covered by the exact plan or add-on; the cited help and pricing pages do not resolve a single entitlement path.
Beyond prerecorded 24/7 The cited 24/7 page focuses on prerecorded streaming and playlists. Also documents browser studio sessions with guests and external encoder workflows using OBS, Zoom, vMix, and Wirecast.
Destinations for 24/7 The cited product page describes YouTube streaming; check the selected plan for any other destination you require. The help article says 24/7 streaming is YouTube-only.
Computer required to remain on LiveReacting says its servers keep the broadcast running, so your computer can be off. The workflow is scheduled through OneStream’s cloud service; the cited help guide does not state a comparable independent uptime guarantee.
Published pricing evidence The official 24/7 page displayed $39.99/month standard when accessed October 3, 2026; promotions and billing displays can change. The pricing page accessed October 3, 2026 listed Basic at $15/month, Standard at $39/month, Professional at $49/month, and Enterprise at $139/month. It also advertised a $30/month YouTube 24-hour-stream add-on. The help page says Enterprise is required for 24/7 streaming, so these figures do not establish the cheapest eligible total.

Prices above are the providers’ displayed figures as accessed October 3, 2026, not a guaranteed quote. OneStream’s pages may describe separate or changing entitlements; check the current billing selection and account terms rather than assuming a base plan plus add-on—or Enterprise alone—is sufficient.

Which service fits your 24/7 channel?

Choose LiveReacting when uninterrupted playlist duration is the priority

LiveReacting is the more straightforward match if you want to schedule or start prerecorded videos and playlists, and want the service to keep the broadcast running without your computer. Its page describes the 24/7 plan as having no service-side duration limit. That does not remove YouTube’s own constraints, and it is a vendor claim rather than a measured uptime or performance guarantee.

LiveReacting also warns that YouTube may not save streams longer than 12 hours as a recording. That concerns the archive, not necessarily whether a live transmission continues. Check YouTube’s current live-stream documentation before relying on a saved replay for your workflow.

Choose OneStream when you also need live-production workflows

OneStream is worth considering if your channel combines prerecorded broadcasts with browser-studio sessions, guests, or an external encoder. Its help center documents those workflows, including OBS, Zoom, vMix, and Wirecast. For the 24/7 prerecorded use case specifically, its help guide says the feature is YouTube-only and caps each scheduled run at 30 days; decide whether planning a restart at that point is acceptable.

Check channel count and restart tolerance before comparing totals

A single playlist that can be restarted every 30 days is not the same workload as several simultaneous channels or a continuously hosted live show. Before paying, confirm the plan’s concurrent-stream allowance, what counts as a slot or add-on, whether a scheduled run needs manual attention at its limit, and the total price for the exact configuration. The cited public pages do not settle every one of those account-specific details.

What a 24/7 YouTube setup needs

For prerecorded playlists on the cloud services described here, the essential inputs are the media files, a YouTube channel with live streaming enabled, and the connection details requested by the service. A webcam, microphone, capture card, or dedicated computer is not required simply to play prerecorded material. Those may be relevant if you are producing a hosted live show, but they are separate from looping uploaded videos.

CanaKit Raspberry Pi 5 Essentials Starter Kit (4GB RAM)
  • CanaKit Raspberry Pi 5 Essentials Starter Kit
  • Confirm YouTube access: Make sure the channel can go live and that you can access its live-stream settings.
  • Prepare media you have rights to use: Music, video, images, and other included material can raise copyright issues even when the broadcast is automated. Review YouTube’s current policies and any licenses that apply to your content.
  • Build and review the playlist: Check ordering, durations, transitions, and whether the provider’s selected workflow loops or schedules the material as you intend.
  • Decide how to handle the archive: A live transmission and its saved replay are different outcomes. LiveReacting’s page cautions about YouTube not saving streams longer than 12 hours as recordings; verify current YouTube behavior before depending on archives.

How to make the decision without a misleading price comparison

  1. Define the workload. Write down the number of channels that must run at once, whether each needs a playlist, and the longest acceptable interval before a restart.
  2. Match the workflow. For prerecorded-only looping, compare the 24/7 feature directly. If you need guests, a browser studio, or encoder input, include OneStream’s documented production options in the comparison.
  3. Verify the 24/7 entitlement. On OneStream, reconcile the help article’s Enterprise requirement with the pricing page’s advertised $30/month YouTube 24-hour-stream add-on by checking the current plan selector, checkout, or account terms. Do not infer the lowest eligible total from either page alone.
  4. Calculate the complete recurring cost. Include the base plan, any add-on, the billing period, and enough concurrent capacity for every channel. LiveReacting’s displayed standard figure and any promotion should also be checked on its live pricing page before purchase.
  5. Test the operational details. Confirm how playlists are scheduled, how a capped run is restarted, and what happens if YouTube disconnects or a file cannot be played. Neither provider’s cited page supplies an independent uptime comparison.

Or let it run in the cloud

For an always-on YouTube channel built from uploaded videos, StreamNeo is the first alternative to try: upload your recording or playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live. Nothing has to stay on at home; it streams the upload as made, up to 4K 60fps, at one price per slot, and automatically recovers if YouTube drops the stream. The first day is free with no card. Monthly: $9.99 per month.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can either service keep a YouTube stream running while my computer is off?
