For an adult who wants a new, explicitly Halloween-themed LEGO centerpiece, LEGO Icons Mayor Manor (11383) is the clearest choice: LEGO’s US listing showed it available for $119.99 on October 4, 2026. If you mean a non-LEGO alternative, Lemax Spooky Town is better understood as a miniature Halloween village for display, not a comparable brick-building kit. The right buy depends on whether you want a hands-on construction project, a dramatic feature build, or seasonal scenery.

Haunted House: choose it for the ride mechanism
LEGO Haunted House (10273) is the feature-led option: its opening structure contains a working free-fall ride and automatic doors. LEGO says the elevator can be controlled with separately sold Powered Up components, so motorization is an additional possibility rather than a built-in, included powered feature. The listed model dimensions are approximately 68 cm high and 25 cm wide and deep. Because the page’s availability can change, check its status before treating it as an easy-to-buy option.
Small seasonal builds: skull candle or pumpkin lantern
For a lower-cost seasonal gift or a small display, LEGO’s US Halloween assortment listed the Halloween Skull Candle at $19.99 and the Halloween Pumpkin Lantern at $29.99, both age-marked 9+. On October 4, 2026, the Skull Candle showed “Add to Bag” and the Pumpkin Lantern showed “Backorder.” These are smaller decor projects, not alternatives in scale to a haunted manor.

How Lemax Spooky Town differs from LEGO
Lemax’s 2026 Halloween catalog features Spooky Town village buildings and scenery, including The Count’s Candy Corn Factory, Dr. Dreadmoor’s Castle, Undead Manor and Petrified Forest Tree House, as well as separate scene accessories. That makes Lemax relevant if you want to build out a miniature Halloween village for display.
It is not an apples-to-apples construction-kit comparison: the catalog does not establish these as interlocking-brick kits, and the reviewed sources do not establish LEGO compatibility. LEGO’s listings specify hands-on construction sets with piece counts and age labels; the Lemax catalog describes village buildings and scene pieces. The available source information also does not support comparing their value by price per piece.
