For Pocket Gamer’s September 2, 2026 tier-list snapshot, version 1.0.17, the highest-ranked group is S+—but the ranking is that guide’s assessment, not an official game ranking. Pocket Gamer advises against rerolling: story rewards, logins, events, and codes can provide useful heroes and tickets, while duplicates help develop your main heroes. That is the guide author’s recommendation, not a measured comparison of reroll outcomes.
How to read this Legend of Kingdoms tier list
The following roster reproduces Pocket Gamer’s tiers in its September 2, 2026 update, version 1.0.17, which added Zen·Wang Yi. These are the publication’s rankings, not developer ratings or a universal ordering for every game mode, formation, or account. The game’s Google Play description says fighters have unique skills and that faction bonuses and formations matter, so a tier alone cannot establish the best fit for your team.

What the rankings mean for team building
The tier list is a starting point, not a substitute for considering a hero’s job and your available upgrades. Pocket Gamer’s descriptions illustrate why role matters: a damage dealer may help clear waves, while a healer, shield provider, controller, or frontline hero contributes differently. The guide does not provide a systematic comparison by mode or account stage.

Damage and frontline examples
Pocket Gamer describes Demon Lu Bu – Feng Xian as a damage-dealing frontliner who can become invincible. It characterizes Demon Diao Chan – Bi Yue as a high-DPS assassin with self-healing and Bleeding. Saint Sun Shangxiang – Shang Xiang is presented as a ranged damage dealer effective at clearing waves and boosting physical damage.
Support, healing, and control examples
The guide describes Saint Da Qiao – Da Qiao as a healer/support who can apply crowd control and buff the team. It calls Sun Luyu – Little Tiger a starting support with shields, Fury support, and healing, and Demon Zhen Fu – Luo Shen a stronger but harder-to-get healing/support option. These are the guide author’s descriptions, not independently verified performance findings.

Progression and trade-offs
Pocket Gamer says Saint Zhou Yu is a damage dealer whose casting takes time, Pang Tong is a mostly offensive mage who can fall off later, and Huang Gai is a control/frontline option that is not ideal as a frontline. Its examples point to practical questions beyond tier: what role is missing, whether the hero is available to you, and whether you can invest the duplicates and resources needed to upgrade.
Should you reroll in Legend of Kingdoms?
Pocket Gamer’s answer is no. Its reasoning is that players receive useful starter heroes and recruit tickets from story progress, logins, events, and codes; selective summons may help target missing heroes; and duplicate heroes are needed to upgrade core heroes. On that basis, the guide argues that restarting sacrifices progress. It does not quantify the time required, compare reroll success rates, or say rerolling is mechanically impossible.
Rank #3
The Google Play listing for Legend of Kingdoms: Idle RPG advertises “400 free draws total” for logging in and “THREE THOUSAND draws” after completing the main story. These are Loongcheer Game promotional claims; the listing passage does not specify eligibility, region, or account-specific conditions, so treat them as advertised incentives rather than a guaranteed number of draws for every player. Google Play listing.
Why upgrades may matter more than starting over
The game’s Google Play description says, “There is a fighter rebirth function to return ALL resources that you used.” That is the publisher’s description and has not been independently tested here; it suggests that experimenting with upgrades may be less costly than committing permanently, but it does not establish that every resource or circumstance is covered beyond the listing’s wording.
Rank #4
Pocket Gamer also says late-game progress is harder and recommends doing daily tasks. Its article notes that in-app purchases are present. It says tickets can come from story progression, logins, events, and codes, but code validity and reward schedules can change and are not established by the listing.

What this tier list cannot tell you
- It does not establish official developer rankings, summon odds, or a hero’s value in every mode and formation.
- It does not provide a systematic account of each hero’s availability, upgrade cost, or late-game performance.
- It does not prove that rerolling is never worthwhile for an individual account; it offers a recommendation without measured time or outcome data.
Use the snapshot as a dated reference, then weigh role, faction and formation fit, access to duplicates, and your own progression before spending resources.
