KnownHost’s managed WordPress plans start at a listed $5.98 per month, but that introductory rate is based on a three-year commitment and the listed renewal price is higher. Entry and Business each include one website; Corporate lists five. The company also advertises WordPress management, staging, backups, migration, and 24/7 support. Those are provider-listed features—not independently verified speed, uptime, or security results.

KnownHost WordPress plan prices and limits

KnownHost’s product pages list three managed WordPress tiers. The introductory rates below are based on a three-year commitment; confirm the checkout total, billing term, taxes, and renewal terms before ordering. Visit figures are provider-stated plan allowances, not independently tested capacity.

Plan Introductory price Listed renewal Websites Memory NVMe storage Stated visits per month
Entry $5.98/month $11.95/month 1 4 GB 50 GB Up to 100,000
Business $9.98/month $19.95/month 1 4 GB 100 GB Up to 200,000
Corporate $19.98/month $39.95/month 5 6 GB 150 GB Up to 500,000

Prices and listed plan specifications are from KnownHost’s managed WordPress product page and plan comparison; introductory prices are shown as based on a three-year commitment. Both pages were accessed in 2026.

Which KnownHost plan makes sense?

Entry: one site at the lowest listed price

Entry is the lowest-cost tier for a single website, with 50 GB of listed NVMe storage and an allowance of up to 100,000 monthly visits. Its listed renewal is $11.95 per month, so budget against that figure rather than the introductory rate alone.

Business: more storage and a higher visit allowance for one site

Business also lists one website and 4 GB of memory, but doubles Entry’s listed storage to 100 GB and its monthly visit allowance to 200,000. The listed renewal is $19.95 per month. Consider it when those additional vendor-stated resources justify the recurring price; the allowance does not establish how a site will perform under real traffic.

Corporate: for up to five listed sites

Corporate is the only tier in this comparison listing five websites. It also lists 6 GB of memory, 150 GB of NVMe storage, up to 500,000 monthly visits, and a dedicated IPv4 address in the product overview. Its listed renewal is $39.95 per month. If you need several WordPress sites, the site limit is the main distinction to check first.

Other listed plan differences

KnownHost’s comparison page also lists CPU cores, inode limits, and database counts by tier:

Plan CPU cores Inode limit Databases
Entry 2 350,000 2
Business 4 450,000 2
Corporate 6 600,000 8

The comparison also lists unlimited email and premium bandwidth for the plans. These are provider-published specifications; consult the plan terms for how resource limits are applied.

What KnownHost says its managed WordPress service includes

WordPress tools and infrastructure

KnownHost describes its WordPress environment as using LiteSpeed and LSCache, NVMe-backed storage, AMD EPYC servers, and CloudLinux isolation. It lists cPanel, WP Toolkit, plugin and theme management, cron management, integrity checks, security hardening, smart updates, and staging and cloning. Optional Redis and Memcached support is also described.

Security and backups

The company says each WordPress account receives Imunify360 security, including malware scanning and a web application firewall. It advertises scheduled or daily backups and JetBackup access; one page describes default retention that includes two-day and one-week backups. Check the retention and recovery details for the specific plan before relying on it as your complete backup policy. These descriptions are provider statements, not the results of an independent security audit.

Migration and support

KnownHost advertises free professional migrations. Its description says the team copies site files, databases, and email, checks the migrated site, and aims to keep it live during the move. Confirm eligibility and handling with the host if your site has unusual configurations or migration requirements.

The plan comparison lists 24/7/365 support, while the WordPress page describes live chat and ticket support. The comparison also lists a 30-day money-back guarantee; the WordPress page says it applies to new clients. Review the provider’s current terms for eligibility and exclusions.

Datacenter locations and choosing one

KnownHost lists datacenters in Atlanta, Seattle, and Amsterdam and says customers can select a location. Choosing a location near your audience is a practical consideration, but the location list alone does not establish a particular speed or search-ranking benefit.

What customer comments and available evidence can establish

KnownHost’s product page displays customer testimonials praising support, reliability, and ease of use. One testimonial, attributed on the page to “K.H. C.,” says, “There has been 99% UPTIME for more than 10 years.” That is a customer’s statement hosted by the company, not an audited uptime statistic or a representative survey. The same page displays a comment praising support response and resolution; company-selected testimonials illustrate individual feedback but cannot establish typical customer experience.

No controlled speed test, independent uptime measurement, independent benchmark, or representative customer survey is established here. The advertised plan limits and feature descriptions are useful for comparing what KnownHost says it provides, but they do not verify real-world performance.

How to decide

  • Start with the number of websites you need: Entry and Business list one each; Corporate lists five.
  • Compare storage and other listed allowances against your needs, treating monthly visit figures as provider claims rather than tested capacity.
  • Use the renewal price, not only the introductory offer, to judge ongoing affordability.
  • Confirm backup retention, migration eligibility, guarantee terms, and the exact billing total before committing.
