Cisco Partner Summit 2025 centered on a clear message: Cisco sees AI growth as a need for secure, resilient infrastructure—and an opportunity for partners to build expertise and deliver services around it. The summit’s announcements covered networking, security, AI operations, and partner incentives. Cisco later confirmed that its Cisco 360 Partner Program launched on January 26, 2026.
What was Cisco’s main message at Partner Summit 2025?
Cisco framed AI as an infrastructure challenge, not simply a software opportunity. Chair and CEO Chuck Robbins said, “There is no AI without a network, and no AI without a secure network.” President and Chief Product Officer Jeetu Patel identified three customer priorities: AI-ready data centers, future-proofed workplaces, and digitally resilient infrastructure. Patel also said, “Security is a prerequisite for adoption, and it’s a prerequisite for productivity.”
Those statements describe Cisco’s strategic position, rather than independently verified conclusions. The practical theme was that AI adoption depends on networking, security, and operational resilience—and Cisco wants partners to help customers put those foundations in place.
What infrastructure and operations examples did Cisco announce?
Cisco’s November 6, 2025 recap connected that strategy to several products and capabilities. These are examples Cisco named or described; the recap is not independent performance testing.
#1 Best Overall
- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
- AI networking: Cisco highlighted its 8223 router, powered by P200 Silicon One, and Nexus 9300 Series smart switches with embedded data processing units. Cisco says the switches can steer traffic and provide firewall and security services at line rate.
- AI infrastructure: Cisco named Cisco Secure AI Factory with NVIDIA and Unified Edge. Cisco described Unified Edge as combining compute, storage, networking, and security for AI applications at the edge.
- Resilience and operations: Cisco pointed to digital resilience solutions using Splunk for observability and incident response, along with AI Canvas and Security Cloud Control.
In a November 4, 2025 partner blog, Cisco SVP of Global Partner Sales Tim Coogan also discussed edge-computing deployments for retail, manufacturing, and branch offices; network visibility and automation; AI features for Webex; Security Cloud Control for managed service providers; and Cisco IQ. These examples show the breadth of the partner opportunity Cisco described, rather than a single new AI product.
What did Cisco announce for partners?
The partner program was a significant part of the commercial story. At the summit, Cisco outlined updates to Cisco 360 intended, in the company’s words, to improve partner profitability and customer value. Coogan described the program this way: “The Cisco 360 Partner Program serves the agile partner ecosystem that reacts and adapts quickly, innovates continuously, and scales efficiently through platform and ecosystem effects.”

Cisco’s subsequent January 26, 2026 announcement confirmed that Cisco 360 had launched. It described registered, Portfolio, and Preferred partner designations; a Partner Locator covering security, networking, collaboration, services, Splunk, and cloud and AI infrastructure; Partner Value Indexes; a Distributor Development Fund; and the Cisco Partner Incentive.
Cisco said temporary Cisco Partner Incentive bonuses would expire at the end of July 2026. That date has passed, so the summit’s bonus details should not be treated as currently available. Eligibility and current program terms can change; partners should consult Cisco’s current program materials before making plans.

What did Cisco say about the size of the opportunity?
Cisco executives cited figures to explain why they believe partners can benefit from AI and infrastructure demand. These are Cisco-reported index results or company estimates, not independently established market measurements in the sources cited here.
| Figure | Attribution and qualification |
|---|---|
| 28% of organizations believe their infrastructure can handle AI workloads | Reported result from Cisco-led 2025 AI Readiness Index, cited in Cisco’s November 2025 summit recap. |
| 90% of Cisco revenue comes through partners | Figure cited by Cisco SVP Tim Coogan in 2025; not independently audited channel analysis in the reviewed sources. |
| $267 billion projected partner-delivered AI services market by 2030 | Projection cited by Coogan and reported by Cisco in 2025; it is Cisco’s cited forecast. |
| $40 billion campus and branch data-center refresh opportunity, with $240 billion of partner opportunity around it | Estimates attributed by Cisco to CEO Chuck Robbins in 2025; not independently verified market sizes. |
The figures explain Cisco’s pitch to partners, but they are best read as company framing—not guarantees of customer demand, partner revenue, or an individual firm’s addressable market.

What does the summit mean for Cisco partners?
Cisco presented partner value as extending across the customer lifecycle, including adoption, managed services, and software. That broadens the opportunity beyond selling equipment: partners may also help customers design and deploy infrastructure, secure it, operate it, and build the skills to use it.
For a partner evaluating Cisco 360, the useful questions are whether its designation matches its business, which specializations and eligible offers fit its customer base, and whether it can deliver lifecycle services as well as product sales. Training and demo resources may help build capability, but incentive eligibility and partner status depend on Cisco’s current rules.

For customers, the announcements indicate where Cisco is directing its portfolio: AI infrastructure, secure networking, edge deployments, workplace tools, and resilience operations. A product family such as the Nexus 9300 Series is enterprise data-center equipment; the summit recap does not establish a specific model, configuration, price, availability, or suitability for ordinary home networking.
What are the limits of Cisco’s claims?
Cisco’s event recap and program announcements are primary sources for what the company announced and how its leaders described the strategy. They do not independently validate the market forecasts, partner revenue share, index result, or product performance claims. Product specifications, program eligibility, and incentive terms should be checked against current Cisco materials for the specific configuration or partner situation.
