There is no reliable, universal list of LSPosed modules that work on “temporary root.” The phrase does not name a root implementation, and the official KernelSU and LSPosed documentation does not certify arbitrary temporary-root setups. What you can verify is a chain of requirements: whether your root setup can run LSPosed, whether your device and kernel meet KernelSU’s requirements, and what each module publishes as its own prerequisites. Check those links one at a time, and treat any module as unverified until the chain holds for your exact setup.
Why no universal list exists
A module compatibility list only means something when it names the environment it was tested in. “Temporary root” does not identify that environment, and the sources behind this guide do not map the phrase to a specific root tool, kernel build, or device. Three things vary independently:
- The root method. A module can require root access, but the documentation for each module does not say whether a given temporary or ephemeral root setup keeps that access available for the whole session in which the target apps run.
- The framework path. LSPosed depends on a Zygisk-capable environment, and the route differs between root managers.
- The module itself. Each module lists its own minimum Android release, LSPosed API, and root expectations.
The KernelSU route to LSPosed
KernelSU does not include Zygisk. The official KernelSU FAQ names ZygiskNext as the way to run LSPosed alongside KernelSU. In the English wording of that FAQ, the relevant answer is: “Yes, you can use LSPosed (or other modern Xposed derivatives) with ZygiskNext.” The FAQ page consulted was a Portuguese localization, so check the current English page if you need the exact text.
This establishes a documented path for KernelSU. It does not establish that the same path works under every temporary-root arrangement.

Check the device and kernel before anything else
KernelSU’s documentation sets the following baseline. Use it as a filter before you look at any module.
- Kernel: KernelSU officially supports GKI 2.0 devices running kernel 5.10 or newer. Older kernels may need manual integration, which is a different and more involved process.
- Architecture: KernelSU lists arm64-v8a and x86_64.
- Android version: A matching Android version does not settle compatibility. Confirm the kernel version and architecture on the actual device.
Module requirements: when a metamodule is needed
KernelSU modules do not all need the same support layer. The distinction matters because a module that changes system files depends on mounting infrastructure, while other module types do not.

A module that is only an LSPosed hook for selected apps does not fall under this table at all. Its requirements come from LSPosed and the module’s own page.

The KernelSU FAQ states that enabling KernelSU modules conflicts with Magisk’s magic mount. If your setup uses both systems, resolve that conflict before testing any LSPosed module that changes system files, since a mount conflict can make a module appear broken when the real problem is the mount layer.

Reading a module’s requirements: a worked example
The YumyHook project page is a current example of how a module publishes its requirements. It describes an LSPosed module built on the libxposed API and lists the following, as of the page version consulted:
- Root: required. KernelSU is listed as one possible root manager.
- LSPosed API: libxposed API 100 or higher. The page recommends API 102.
- Android: 8.0 or higher.
These are the module’s stated requirements. They do not confirm that YumyHook works with an unspecified temporary-root implementation, and the listed values can change, so check the page before installing.

The page’s installation steps are:
- Install the module APK.
- Grant superuser access to the module in your root manager.
- Enable the module in LSPosed.
- Select the target apps the module should hook.
- Force-stop each target app and reopen it to confirm the module is active.
Compatibility checks before you install
Work through this list for each module you want to try. A module is only verified for your setup when every item is confirmed for that setup.

- The name of the temporary-root method you use, and whether it keeps root and LSPosed active while your target apps run.
- Your phone model, Android version, kernel version, and architecture.
- The module’s listed root, LSPosed API, and Android minimums.
- Whether the module changes files under /system or only hooks apps. If it changes system files on KernelSU, confirm a metamodule is installed.
- Whether your setup runs Magisk magic mount alongside KernelSU modules.
If a module does not behave as expected
- Confirm the target app was force-stopped and reopened after enabling the module, as the module’s steps require.
- Disable the module in LSPosed and force-stop the target app to return it to its normal behavior.
- If the module needs a metamodule or a root session that your temporary-root method does not keep active, treat the failure as a compatibility result for that setup, not a general fault in the module.
