Jensen Huang reaffirmed his view that global AI infrastructure spending could reach $3 trillion to $4 trillion by 2030. The figure describes industrywide infrastructure spending—not NVIDIA revenue—and remains the NVIDIA CEO’s outlook rather than a verified market outcome.
What did Jensen Huang reaffirm?
At the September 10, 2026 Goldman Sachs Communacopia + Technology Conference, Goldman Sachs Senior Equity Analyst James Schneider brought up Huang’s earlier projection of $3 trillion to $4 trillion in AI infrastructure spending by 2030. Huang replied: “I just think we should just take a pause and acknowledge that I was right.” His remark reaffirmed the outlook; it did not turn the projection into a confirmed spending commitment or an independent forecast.
The distinction in scope matters: Huang was discussing spending on AI infrastructure across the market, not saying NVIDIA itself would earn $3 trillion to $4 trillion.
Why does Huang expect AI infrastructure demand to grow?
Huang’s explanation is that computing is shifting from retrieving stored information toward generating responses. A user prompt and its context lead an AI system to produce an answer, and serving that demand continuously requires computing capacity. He describes the systems behind this work as “AI factories.”

- AI Performance: 767 AI TOPS
- OC mode: 2632 MHz (OC mode)/ 2602 MHz (Default mode)
- Powered by the NVIDIA Blackwell architecture and DLSS 4
- Axial-tech fan design features a smaller fan hub that facilitates longer blades and a barrier ring that increases downward air pressure
- A 2.5-slot design maximizes compatibility and cooling efficiency for superior performance in small chassis
This is Huang’s rationale for the size of the opportunity, not independent proof that spending will reach the projected range. His comments identify accelerated computing, generative AI, and agentic AI as demand drivers, while also noting that customers make decisions about how to finance their investments.
Which buyers and infrastructure estimates does NVIDIA cite?
NVIDIA describes demand from hyperscalers as well as enterprises, neocloud providers, and sovereign-AI buyers. Huang has emphasized the opportunity beyond hyperscalers, but the cited company commentary does not provide independently validated spending shares for those customer groups by 2030.

On NVIDIA’s August 26, 2026 Q2 FY2027 earnings call, Huang gave approximate NVIDIA content values per gigawatt for successive platform generations:

Does the projection mean NVIDIA could make $1 trillion a year?
No. A separate October 4, 2026 Motley Fool article suggests NVIDIA could exceed $1 trillion in revenue by 2030 if it maintains an assumed share of AI infrastructure spending. That is the article author’s conditional extrapolation, based on a market-share assumption and separate revenue estimates—not Huang’s $3 trillion to $4 trillion infrastructure-spending projection.
The distinction is between total industry spending and one company’s revenue. A market-spending outlook alone does not establish NVIDIA’s future share, sales, or revenue. The Motley Fool article’s investment recommendation is opinion, not a guarantee or personalized financial advice.

How certain is the 2030 outlook?
The available statements establish what Huang expects, not that the spending will occur. NVIDIA’s descriptions of customer demand and its per-gigawatt estimates provide context for management’s case, but they do not independently validate the total or show that the projected spending is already budgeted, financed, or committed.
Quick Recap
Best Value
- Powered by the NVIDIA Blackwell architecture and DLSS 4 OC mode: 2640MHz/Default mode: 2610MHz (Boost Clock)
- Military-grade components deliver rock-solid power and longer lifespan for ultimate durability
- Protective PCB coating helps protect against short circuits caused by moisture, dust, or debris
