Tasmania beat Brisbane 109-99 in overtime at Brisbane Entertainment Centre on October 3, 2026, after recovering from a 14-point deficit and surviving a late Bullets rally. The teams were tied 91-91 after regulation; the JackJumpers scored the final 10 points of overtime to secure the win.

Brisbane built a 14-point advantage
The Bullets led 23-17 after the first quarter and extended their advantage to 47-33 in the second. Tasmania closed the half with a 7-0 run, cutting Brisbane’s lead to 47-40 at halftime.
Tasmania took control in the third
The JackJumpers outscored Brisbane 34-18 in the third quarter, including a 13-0 stretch, and went into the fourth ahead 74-65. They later led by as many as 11 points.
Brisbane’s 11-0 run forced overtime
With Tasmania ahead 89-80 late in the fourth, Brisbane scored 11 consecutive points. Tyrell Harrison put the Bullets in front during the burst, turning a nine-point deficit into a lead.

With 22.2 seconds left, Taran Armstrong used a behind-the-back pass to find Josh Bannan, who scored to tie the game. Max Mackinnon’s three-point attempt at the buzzer missed, leaving the score 91-91 and sending the game to overtime.
The JackJumpers closed the extra period on a 10-0 run
Tasmania scored the last 10 points of overtime to make the final 109-99. Armstrong helped seal the result with a three-point play and two free throws.

Armstrong led all scorers. Bannan’s late basket off Armstrong’s pass sent the game to overtime, while Harrison led Brisbane’s scoring.
