No: the October 2026 price reported for the iPad mini 7 at Amazon is $569, or $30 below the stated $599 price—not $100 off. The $100 discount was reported for the 128GB model during Prime Big Deal Days in October 2025. Amazon’s 2026 event runs October 6–7, but the reviewed coverage does not establish whether the tablet’s price will fall further.
What the iPad mini 7 costs at Amazon now
Tom’s Guide reported the iPad mini 7 at Amazon for $569 against a stated $599 price in October 2026, a $30 reduction. This is a dated third-party price report, not a verified live Amazon listing. Check the Amazon listing before buying: price, seller, color, inventory, and offer eligibility can change, and the price may vary by configuration.
The reported $569 figure does not establish an all-time low or a Prime-exclusive offer. Check the selected storage capacity and whether the listing is Wi-Fi or cellular before comparing prices.
Where the $100-off claim comes from
Tom’s Guide reported the 128GB Wi-Fi iPad mini 7 at $399 against $499 on October 6, 2025, during the previous year’s Prime Big Deal Days. That historical offer explains the $100 figure, but it is not evidence that the same price is available in October 2026.

How to decide whether the deal suits you
Choose based on screen size and portability
The iPad mini 7’s 8.3-inch Liquid Retina display measures 2,266 × 1,488 pixels. Its compact size favors portability, while a larger tablet gives you more screen area. Decide which matters more for your reading, travel, or everyday use rather than treating a discount alone as proof of value.

Check the configuration before checkout
- Confirm the storage tier—128GB, 256GB, or 512GB—and compare only with the same capacity.
- Confirm whether the model is Wi-Fi or cellular; the cited historical price tiers are for Wi-Fi models.
- Review the seller, color, stock, and offer terms on the live listing.
- Compare the final checkout price, not just a crossed-out reference price. The cited “was” prices do not independently establish Amazon’s full price history or an all-time low.
Consider the hardware in context
The iPad mini 7 uses Apple’s A17 Pro chip and has 12MP front and rear cameras plus Wi-Fi 6E. Tom’s Guide reported a 10-hour result in its own battery test; that is the publication’s test result, not a guarantee of your runtime.
