What the $25 offer says—and why its status is unclear
Sam’s Club’s official join page advertises a first-year Club membership for $25, compared with a stated regular fee of $60. The same page says the offer ends September 30, 2026, a date that had passed by October 3. Sam’s Club’s join page therefore documents the promotion and its deadline, but does not confirm that it remains available now.
Yahoo Shopping reported a $25 Club membership and a $55 Plus membership on October 1, after the listed deadline. That secondary report conflicts with the end date on Sam’s Club’s page; it does not by itself verify that the offer is still available at checkout. Yahoo Shopping’s report is useful context, not a substitute for current official terms.
Before paying, open the offer through Sam’s Club’s current membership page and confirm that the $25 price appears in the order summary, along with its applicable terms. If the price or deadline shown at checkout differs, rely on the terms presented there rather than assuming an older promotion is still active.

Who qualifies for the general offer?
The official $25 offer is for eligible new members joining through the specified link. Sam’s Club’s listed exclusions include:
- Current Sam’s Club members.
- People who held a Sam’s Club membership within the previous six months.
- Guest members.
- Walmart and Sam’s Club associates.

What to consider before joining for holiday shopping
The official Club offer page lists Instant Savings, member-only fuel prices at select Sam’s Club locations, and a complimentary household membership card. Sam’s Club’s Club offer page describes those benefits. For holiday shopping, weigh them against the purchases and fuel stops you realistically expect to make; the listed benefits alone do not guarantee that the membership will save you money.
A gift membership is a separate product, not a workaround for the new-member deal. Sam’s Club’s help page says a Gift of Membership provides access to member-only savings and has no expiration date, but that statement does not establish eligibility for this promotion. A promotional first-year price does not necessarily mean the membership will stop automatically after a year. Sam’s Club’s terms describe recurring annual membership charges when auto-renew is enabled. Check the renewal consent during checkout, then review your account’s auto-renew settings if you do not want another annual charge.
