Google’s free one-year AI Pro offer for students in Pakistan was reported in 2025, but Google’s current student-offer page does not list a free AI Pro trial for Pakistan. It lists a separate discounted AI Pro and YouTube Premium student bundle for eligible Pakistani students. A later Pakistan-Google announcement discusses exploring free AI Plus access, not a live AI Pro offer.
Is Google AI Pro free for students in Pakistan?
Not according to Google’s current published student-offer terms. Google currently describes a free 12-month AI Pro student trial for eligible higher-education students in the United States. Pakistan appears on the list for a different offer: an AI Pro and YouTube Premium student bundle at a discount, not a free one-year trial. Google says the offers shown through its student storefront depend on region and eligibility, so check Google’s student offer page while signed in to see what is available to your account.
The distinction matters because an earlier news report and a current claimable offer are not the same thing. Associated Press of Pakistan (APP) reported a free one-year AI Pro subscription for Pakistani students aged 18 and older in an article dated October 9, 2025, according to indexing; the page itself prints “Oct 09” without a year. That report is historical and does not establish that the offer can still be claimed.
What the reported Pakistan offer included
APP’s report described access to Gemini 2.5 Pro, Deep Research, Gemini features in Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides and Meet, NotebookLM, video creation tools including Veo 3 in Gemini and Flow, and 2 TB of storage. Those are details reported for the 2025 promotion, not a guarantee of today’s plan features or eligibility. Google’s current student terms should be used to evaluate an offer now.

- Unlocked Android phone gives you the flexibility to change carriers and choose your own data plan: Works with Google Fi, Verizon, T-Mobile, AT&T, and other major carriers[2]
- Stay informed without looking at your screen: When your phone is face down, Pixel HiLight gently alerts you with subtle glowing lights when your favorite contacts are calling or you’re talking with Gemini; exclusive to Google Pixel 11 Pro phones
- Magic Capture catches the moment as you live it: With just one tap, Pixel 11 Pro captures video and photos, and automatically edits, crops, and unblurs a curated collection, ready to share – and you get the memory of how it felt to be in the moment
- Two new cameras for more brilliant photos: A larger telephoto sensor captures 30% more light for clear, beautiful photos and videos, even in the dark[3]; Pixel’s longest zoom ever helps you capture details from impressive distances[4]
What Pakistani students can check now
Discounted AI Pro and YouTube Premium student bundle
Google’s help page lists Pakistan among countries supported for a student bundle combining Google AI Pro and YouTube Premium. It is a discounted paid plan, not the reported no-cost one-year offer. Whether the bundle appears for an individual student depends on the selected offer and eligibility shown in Google’s student storefront.
Possible AI Plus access under the 2026 MoU
On August 21, 2026, Pakistan’s Press Information Department announced a memorandum of understanding with Google. The release says Google “intends to explore” providing one year of free Google AI Plus and Gemini Notebook access to students across Pakistan. This is a plan to explore access, not confirmation that a student offer is live or claimable. AI Plus is also a different plan from AI Pro.
Rank #2
- Google Pixel 10a is a durable, everyday phone with more[1]; snap brilliant photography on a simple, powerful camera, get 30+ hours out of a full charge[2], and do more with helpful AI like Gemini[3]
- Unlocked Android phone gives you the flexibility to change carriers and choose your own data plan; it works with Google Fi, Verizon, T-Mobile, AT&T, and other major carriers
- Pixel 10a is sleek and durable, with a super smooth finish, scratch-resistant Corning Gorilla Glass 7i display, and IP68 water and dust protection[4]
- The Actua display with 3,000-nit peak brightness shows up clear as day, even in direct sunlight[5]
- Plan, create, and get more done with help from Gemini, your built-in AI assistant[3]; have it screen spam calls while you focus[6]; chat with Gemini to brainstorm your meal plan[7], or bring your ideas to life with Nano Banana[8]
The same announcement says the MoU aims to provide 150,000 Google Career Certificates in 2026; that is a stated target, not a reported completed distribution. It also names a $30 billion digital-economy goal for 2030, which is a future goal rather than a measured current export figure.

How to check and claim an available student offer
- Go to one.google.com/ai-student and sign in with your personal Google Account.
- Review the offer presented for your region and account. Do not assume the historical free Pakistan offer will appear; Google’s current published free AI Pro trial is for US students, while Pakistan is listed for the separate discounted bundle.
- If the offer requests student verification, complete it through SheerID. Google’s general guidance says verification uses a valid school email address, but requirements may depend on the particular offer.
- Review the price, duration, renewal terms and eligibility shown on the offer page, then provide a qualifying payment method if required to complete signup.
Google’s general guidance says eligible students must attend a higher-education institution in a region where the relevant AI plan is supported, use a personal Google Account, and meet the selected offer’s requirements. New and existing Google One members may qualify generally, but exceptions include some family-plan memberships and memberships obtained through third-party partners, Pixel Pass or Google Fi. Exact rules depend on the offer.

Google says a student offer converts to a regular paid AI Plus or AI Pro plan when it ends, except where applicable law requires consent. Google says it will notify the subscriber before the change. Check the displayed renewal price and manage or cancel the subscription before the offer expires if you do not want it to continue as a paid plan.
For the AI Pro student offer and its YouTube Premium bundle, Google says student re-verification is generally required every 12 months for up to four consecutive years. This rule is subject to the specific offer’s terms.
