Yes. Gears of War: E-Day is confirmed for Windows 10/11, with versions for the Microsoft Store and Steam. Xbox lists October 6, 2026 as the launch date; Premium Edition early access begins October 1. The exact minimum and recommended PC hardware figures are published in an Xbox specifications graphic, but they are not available as readable figures here, so CPU, GPU, memory, and storage requirements should not be guessed.
Is Gears of War: E-Day coming to PC?
Yes. Xbox confirms a Windows 10/11 release, with the Microsoft Store and Steam named as PC storefronts. The game is also coming to Xbox Series X|S. Xbox Wire’s September 17, 2026 launch announcement and the official Xbox game page identify the PC platforms.
What are the PC system requirements?
Xbox published a final PC specifications announcement and linked a graphic containing the requirements. The component figures in that graphic are not available as readable text in the cited announcement, so this article cannot reliably list minimum or recommended CPU, GPU, RAM, or storage. Check the current graphic on Xbox Wire before deciding whether a particular PC meets the requirements; do not rely on unattributed search snippets.

Xbox’s July 14, 2026 PC technology announcement says the game uses Unreal Engine 5 and DirectX 12 and supports hardware ray tracing. It also names NVIDIA DLSS 4.5 with Dynamic Multi Frame Generation and Super Resolution, NVIDIA Reflex, AMD FSR, Unreal Engine TSR, and Intel XeSS. These are announced features, and use can depend on compatible hardware and software. Xbox Wire’s PC technology overview describes them.

Xbox also says Advanced Shader Delivery can provide precompiled shaders alongside the game on compatible systems, with the aim of reducing load times and first-run shader stutter. That feature does not establish a minimum hardware tier. NVIDIA’s role as the exclusive PC partner and Xbox’s statement that the game is being optimized across a broad range of hardware likewise do not replace the component requirements table.
When does the PC version launch?
The standard launch date is October 6, 2026. The Premium Edition allows play up to five days early, beginning October 1. Xbox says Game Pass members can start on the standard launch date. These dates and access details are given in Xbox Wire’s September 17 announcement and the Xbox game page.
