KOEI TECMO America launched Dynasty Warriors 3: Complete Edition Remastered on October 1, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows PC via Steam. The package combines Dynasty Warriors 3 with its Xtreme Legends expansion. The publisher describes refined graphics and controls, new features and scenarios, and the return of more than 40 officers alongside Ziluan, the protagonist of Dynasty Warriors: Origins. Combat additions are optional
The remaster retains True Musou Attacks and adds systems that give you more defensive and weapon options:
- Evasion lets you dodge or briefly retreat. A well-timed dodge can trigger a Just Evasion counterattack.
- Perfect Power Guard can stun a strong enemy when you deflect at the right moment.
- Weapon Fusion lets you use unwanted weapons to transfer elemental properties and skills.
- Additional scenarios unlock when you meet specified conditions in battle.

The main question is whether you want to experience an older Warriors design or expect the broader character movesets of a newer entry. Does it have co-op?
Yes, it supports offline two-player split-screen in Musou, Free, and VS modes.
