Short answer: IRL Pro’s documented role is to broadcast a live feed from an Android device to a stream key over RTMP or SRT. Its guide does not document playing or looping stored video files, so the available evidence does not establish IRL Pro by itself as a way to run prerecorded YouTube videos 24/7. For that specific job, YouTube’s encoder guide lists Gyre as a cloud-based option; StreamNeo is another cloud service that loops uploaded videos to YouTube.
What IRL Pro is documented to do
Enhanced IRL’s IRL Pro broadcasting guide describes an Android app that sends a broadcast to a stream key using RTMP or SRT. You choose a protocol for the key and set IRL Pro to use that same protocol. The guide identifies SRT as preferable to RTMP when the network is unstable or you are moving, but says IRL Pro uses a single connection and does not provide bonding.
That describes encoding and sending a live feed; it does not establish playback from a stored file. A stream key and a working connection do not, on their own, make an app a prerecorded-video player. The reviewed documentation does not show a file playlist, looping control, or an unattended 24/7 playback feature in IRL Pro.

YouTube defines an encoder as the software or hardware that sends a video feed to its live service. The workflow uses YouTube’s server URL and stream key, as explained in its encoder setup guide. To keep prerecorded material running continuously, a separate component must also provide the video playback and looping, and the chosen setup must sustain or recover the stream.

Can a cloud OBS setup bridge the gap?
A cloud-hosted OBS instance could be part of a wider workflow, but the available IRLToolkit quick-start documentation does not establish seamless, unattended 24/7 operation. It documents a 10-minute idle shutdown and a 50-hour maximum session, and directs users to support for 24/7 uptime inquiries. These are the limits stated in the current guide; they are not a guarantee of continuous service. See the IRLToolkit Quick Start Guide for its terms.
In a cloud encoder arrangement, distinguish the incoming key from the outgoing YouTube key. Enhanced IRL explains that an encoder’s input key sends a feed into its service, while the platform key sends the service output onward to YouTube or another destination. That key distinction is useful for routing a live feed, but does not demonstrate that IRL Pro supplies prerecorded-file playback. See Enhanced IRL’s output-to-platform guide.

Purpose-built options for prerecorded YouTube streaming
YouTube’s verified encoder listing identifies Gyre as a cloud-based tool for 24/7 live streaming of prerecorded videos on YouTube. That establishes its relevance to this use case, not its current price, exact feature set, or service terms; check those with Gyre before choosing it. YouTube’s listing is in its encoder guide.

Keeping a long YouTube stream healthy
Regardless of the encoder or cloud service, YouTube advises checking audio and video quality, leaving upload-bandwidth headroom, and testing the setup. Its live streaming tips and streaming tips are relevant when assessing quality and network readiness. For a continuous stream, also verify the selected provider’s session length, idle policy, and restart or recovery behavior instead of treating “cloud” as proof of uninterrupted uptime.

IRL Pro may be useful as an Android encoder for a live feed, with RTMP or SRT selected to match the stream key. Its documented feature set does not establish that it can play and loop stored videos, which is the defining requirement here. Choose a service that explicitly supports prerecorded YouTube playback and check its continuity terms; YouTube lists Gyre for that use case, and StreamNeo provides an upload-and-loop workflow.
