Short answer: IRL Pro is an Android streaming app, while the “trial” in the available setup documentation belongs to Enhanced IRL, a separate service. Enhanced IRL’s account guide said its beta was free through September 30, 2026, with the first charge scheduled for October 1 for subscribers who had not cancelled. That documented offer had ended by October 3, 2026, so it should not be treated as a current free trial.
If you already have access to Enhanced IRL, the documented workflow lets you test whether IRL Pro can connect to a service stream key and whether the incoming signal and bitrate stay steady. It does not establish that a free trial is currently available or that every IRL Pro feature is included in this workflow.
IRL Pro and Enhanced IRL are different products
IRL Pro is an Android streaming application. Its official site describes it as a streaming application for IRL streaming to destinations including YouTube and other RTMP/SRT destinations. Enhanced IRL is a separate streaming service; its guide documents how to send an IRL Pro feed to an Enhanced IRL stream key.

Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →That distinction matters because the documented beta trial was offered by Enhanced IRL, not by IRL Pro. The trial dates in Enhanced IRL’s account guide were September 30, 2026, as the last free day, and October 1, 2026, as the scheduled first charge for subscribers who had not cancelled. The published dates do not confirm a later offer.

What the documented workflow can test
With access to the service and a configured key, the workflow can help you check the connection between IRL Pro and the service, confirm whether the dashboard receives a signal, and observe the incoming bitrate. It can also help you assess stability on a representative route if you are testing while moving.
- Whether IRL Pro connects using the selected stream key and matching protocol.
- Whether the service dashboard changes from “No signal” to “Streaming.”
- The current bitrate shown in the dashboard’s live-signal area.
- Whether the signal and bitrate remain reasonably steady in the conditions where you expect to broadcast.
These are connectivity and signal checks, not a guarantee of a particular YouTube picture quality or proof that all IRL Pro capabilities are available through Enhanced IRL.
Set up YouTube and keep the two stream keys straight
Enhanced IRL’s account wizard allows you to select YouTube, enter your channel name, and add the stream key provided by YouTube. The guide says this configured YouTube channel is used for Cloud OBS output and chat for automatic scene switching.

There can be two different keys in this workflow: YouTube’s key is for sending an output stream to your YouTube channel, while the Enhanced IRL stream key is the encoder input used to send IRL Pro’s feed into the service. Enhanced IRL’s guide explicitly warns users not to confuse them. Use each key only in the field intended for it; do not paste the service input key into YouTube’s output setting or vice versa.
Check YouTube eligibility before testing
YouTube’s general live-stream guidance requires a verified channel with no live-streaming restrictions in the previous 90 days. Its separate native mobile live-stream route has additional eligibility requirements: at least 50 subscribers, live streaming enabled, and a supported device. First-time activation for that mobile route may take up to 24 hours.
Do not apply the 50-subscriber mobile threshold automatically to an encoder-based workflow. IRL Pro is being used as an encoder in the documented setup; check YouTube’s current eligibility and channel settings for the route you intend to use.

Configure IRL Pro with the matching protocol
- Choose the connection type. In the service’s IRL Pro setup, use either SRT or RTMP and select the same protocol in IRL Pro. A protocol mismatch prevents a valid connection.
- Copy the service’s publish URL and key details. For SRT, the guide says the URL carries the key in its
streamid. For RTMP, the URL ends with the key. Keep the complete value intact when entering it in IRL Pro. - Start broadcasting from IRL Pro. Once the app is sending, check the service dashboard for the signal status and current bitrate.
- Test under realistic conditions. If the intended use is mobile, walk or travel a representative route rather than judging stability only on a strong stationary connection. Watch for signal loss and bitrate swings.
Use the service cap as a ceiling, not a quality promise
Enhanced IRL’s guide gives the following plan caps and recommended starting points. These are service-plan figures in that guide, not YouTube-wide limits or assurances of delivered quality.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute| Enhanced IRL plan | Guide’s stream-key cap | Guide’s suggested starting point |
|---|---|---|
| Stream Key Lite | 9,000 kbps | 1080p at 30 fps |
| Stream Key | 9,000 kbps | 1080p at 30 fps |
| OBS Basic | 6,000 kbps | 720p at 30 fps |
| OBS Standard | 6,000 kbps | 1080p at 30 fps |
| OBS Pro | 10,000 kbps | 1080p at 60 fps |
For a moving, single-SIM field test, Enhanced IRL recommends SRT over RTMP, staying below the applicable stream-key cap, and beginning around half the cap. Increase the bitrate only if it remains steady. A higher setting cannot compensate for an unstable connection, and a plan cap is not a recommended target by itself.
Know what this test does not evaluate
- The documented IRL Pro workflow uses one connection; it does not test bonding across multiple connections.
- Enhanced IRL’s guide says that using multiple connections requires an SRTLA path with another compatible encoder, such as Moblin or BELABOX.
- A dashboard showing “Streaming” verifies that the service is receiving a signal; it does not by itself confirm YouTube playback, audience experience, or channel eligibility.
- The documented trial dates do not establish that a new free trial is available now or specify which features a trial account would include.
Troubleshoot the common connection failures
Dashboard remains at “No signal”
- Confirm that IRL Pro and the service are set to the same protocol, SRT or RTMP.
- Check that you copied the complete publish URL and placed the service input key in the correct field. For SRT, preserve the key in the
streamid; for RTMP, the guide’s URL ends with the key. - Verify that IRL Pro has actually started broadcasting, then recheck the dashboard.
Signal connects but the bitrate is unstable
- For a moving single-SIM test, try SRT as recommended in the Enhanced IRL guide.
- Reduce the bitrate below the plan cap and begin around half the cap; raise it only after the dashboard shows a steady bitrate.
- Repeat the test on the route and network conditions you expect to use. A stable result in one location does not establish stability elsewhere.
Service receives a signal but YouTube does not go live
- Check that the YouTube channel is eligible for encoder-based live streaming, verified, and free of live-streaming restrictions in the previous 90 days.
- Confirm that YouTube’s own output stream key is configured for the channel. It is distinct from the Enhanced IRL input key used by IRL Pro.
- If you are using YouTube’s native mobile live feature instead of an encoder route, check its separate subscriber and activation requirements.
Or let it run in the cloud
If your goal is a YouTube channel that stays live with uploaded recordings rather than a camera-based IRL broadcast, StreamNeo is a different option: upload a recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key, and go live. It loops uploaded videos from the cloud, so nothing has to stay on at home. Each slot streams the upload as made, up to 4K 60fps, at one price per slot, with automatic recovery if YouTube drops the stream. The first day is free with no card. Monthly pricing is $9.99 per month. It is for uploaded videos, not live camera broadcasting. Start a StreamNeo trial.
