That does not establish how much faster one phone is in everyday use, how long either lasts on a charge, or which camera takes better photos. No hands-on or independent performance, battery, or camera testing is represented here. A preference for the Z9s’s display or design, or a substantially better live deal on it, could still affect an individual buying decision; the listed specifications do not establish a performance advantage for the Z9s.
Price difference and availability in India
On October 7, 2026, iQOO’s official India listings showed the 8GB/256GB Z9s at ₹27,999 and the 8GB/256GB Z10R at ₹24,999, making the Z10R ₹3,000 cheaper in that captured listing. Both pages showed selected variants unavailable or out of stock. These are dated displayed prices, so check the live price, exact variant, and stock before deciding; other configurations or later offers may change the comparison.

What changes for the display and cameras?
Display
Both phones have a 6.77-inch, 120 Hz AMOLED display, and both have curved edges. iQOO describes the Z10R as quad-curved; the Z9s page describes its display as curved. The specifications establish the stated size, refresh rate, and design descriptions, but not a measured difference in brightness, color accuracy, or outdoor visibility.
Rear and selfie cameras
For the main rear camera, iQOO lists the same 50 MP Sony IMX882 sensor with OIS on both models and highlights 4K video recording for each. The Z10R listing additionally specifies a 32 MP front camera and highlights 4K selfie video. The Z9s front-camera resolution was not established by the official page captured for this comparison, so the evidence does not support a direct front-camera resolution comparison or a conclusion about real-world image quality.

Battery, charging and protection
iQOO lists a 5700 mAh battery for the Z10R and a 5500 mAh battery for the Z9s. Both are listed with 44 W charging. Capacity alone does not establish real-world battery life or charging time, which can vary with use and conditions.
The stated protection ratings also differ: IP68 and IP69 for the Z10R on its product page, versus IP64 for the Z9s on its store listing. These are manufacturer-listed ratings, not a guarantee that a phone is indestructible or suitable for deliberate water exposure. Follow the manufacturer’s care guidance rather than treating a rating as permission to submerge or pressure-wash a device.
Software and update support
iQOO lists the Z10R with Funtouch OS 15 based on Android 15 and says it will receive two years of OS upgrades and up to three years of security updates. The Z9s product page lists Funtouch OS 14 based on Android 14. The official material used for this comparison did not establish the Z9s’s software-support duration, so the Z10R’s stated support commitment should not be assumed to apply to the Z9s. Quick Recap
Which one should you choose?
- Choose the Z10R if the live price remains close to the observed listing and you value its newer listed chipset and software, larger battery capacity, 32 MP selfie camera, or higher stated protection ratings.
- Consider the Z9s if you prefer its design or find it at a better current price. Its published rear-camera and charging specifications are similar to the Z10R’s, but the captured listings do not show a price advantage for the Z9s.
- Before buying either, compare the same RAM and storage configuration, confirm current stock and price, and weigh features that matter to you. The specification comparison cannot substitute for independent performance, camera, or battery testing.
