On the official vivo India store pages checked on October 5, 2026, the iQOO Z9s 5G listing for 8GB+128GB showed ₹25,999 but was unavailable; the vivo X300 FE listing for 12GB+256GB showed ₹94,999 against an MRP of ₹119,999 and could be added to cart. The displayed prices differ by ₹69,000, but this is not a like-for-like or current checkout comparison: the phones have different memory configurations, and the Z9s listing was out of stock. vivo’s store labels the first phone “Z9s 5G”; this comparison uses the more familiar iQOO Z9s name.
Specs at a glance
The X300 FE is the more ambitious package on paper, with a faster-tier chipset, a three-camera rear system that adds a stabilized telephoto, larger battery, faster charging options and higher stated ingress-protection ratings. The Z9s has the larger display and a substantially lower displayed price for the selected listing. Specifications below are manufacturer claims, not independent test results.

At the time checked on October 5, 2026, the official store displayed ₹25,999 inclusive of taxes for the Z9s 8GB+128GB selection, but marked that item unavailable. For the X300 FE 12GB+256GB, it displayed ₹94,999 against a listed MRP of ₹119,999 and showed an option to add it to cart. Those are specific store listings, not evidence of prices for every configuration or of a completed checkout.

The arithmetic difference between the two displayed prices is ₹69,000. It should not be read as a current purchase-price gap: one listing was unavailable, and the selected phones differ in RAM and storage. Offers, stock and selected SKUs can change, so check the exact configuration and final checkout price before deciding.
Which phone suits your priorities?
Choose the Z9s if you want the larger screen or lower listed price
The 6.77-inch display gives the Z9s a 0.46-inch size advantage over the X300 FE’s 6.31-inch screen. Its 8GB+128GB store listing was much cheaper on the date checked, although unavailable then; the displayed amount alone does not establish what a buyer can pay now. The rear camera setup is comparatively simple: a stabilized main camera and a 2MP bokeh camera, rather than a dedicated telephoto and ultra-wide pair.

Choose the X300 FE if camera versatility and premium features matter more
The X300 FE adds a 50MP stabilized telephoto and an 8MP ultra-wide alongside its stabilized main camera. vivo also lists compatibility with a vivo ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen 2, which is sold separately and is not included value in the phone’s displayed price. Its Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, 6500mAh typical battery, 90W wired and 40W wireless charging, and IP68/IP69 claims make it the more feature-rich specification package. These specifications do not establish real-world speed, endurance or image quality without independent testing.

Consider size and weight together
The Z9s is larger-screened but weighs 180g in Titanium Matte or 182g in Onyx Green. The X300 FE weighs 191g and has a smaller 6.31-inch display. Which is more comfortable depends on whether you prefer a broader viewing area or a more compact screen; weight and screen size alone do not determine one-handed usability.

Water resistance and other practical caveats
IP ratings describe protection under specified test conditions, not a guarantee that a phone is waterproof in everyday use. vivo says the X300 FE’s IP68/IP69 ratings were tested under IEC 60529-2013 conditions, while warning on its official product page: “This product is not a professional waterproof phone.” It also says resistance can diminish through daily use, advises against immersing the phone in ordinary use, recommends drying it before charging, and excludes liquid-ingress damage from warranty coverage.
For wired headphones, the X300 FE parameter page says analog 3.5mm earphones may be used through a separately purchased USB-C adapter with a built-in DAC. Check the exact regional package and accessory requirements before buying.
