That is a ₹12,000 difference between listed prices, not a like-for-like comparison of matching memory configurations. Both prices and availability can change, so check the current offer and exact variant before buying.

How much more does the iQOO Z11 cost?
Using the cited India listings, the iQOO Z11 5G costs ₹12,000 more than the REDMI Note 17 5G’s advertised starting price. The iQOO figure is for 8 GB + 128 GB; Xiaomi’s starting offer is associated with a listed 6 GB + 128 GB version. The gap therefore compares different RAM configurations, and the cited pages do not establish an equivalent 8 GB price for both phones.
Offers are dynamic. Compare the checkout price for the same RAM and storage, and check the local warranty and exact network variant. Do not treat the starting-price difference as a fixed or same-configuration premium.

Which phone has the better display?
The REDMI Note 17 5G has the larger listed screen at 6.99 inches, compared with 6.83 inches on the iQOO. The iQOO’s 1.5K AMOLED specification and refresh rate of up to 144 Hz contrast with the Redmi’s 120 Hz AMOLED display. Those figures describe different priorities: a larger viewing area on the Redmi, and a higher stated refresh rate plus specified 1.5K resolution on the iQOO.
Refresh rate and resolution alone do not establish which screen looks better. If readability, brightness, or color matters to you, compare the phones in person under the conditions in which you expect to use them.

Battery capacity and charging: what the numbers show
Xiaomi lists an 8,000 mAh battery and 45 W charging for the Redmi; iQOO lists 7,050 mAh and 44 W for the Z11. Xiaomi describes the Redmi battery as an “8000mAh EV-Grade Battery” on its India product page. It also lists a charger in the box.

These are manufacturer specifications, not comparable measurements of battery life or charging time. Actual endurance and charge duration are not established by the listed capacities and wattages alone.

What the camera specifications do—and do not—tell you
iQOO lists a 50 MP main rear camera and an 8 MP ultra-wide, plus a 32 MP front camera. Xiaomi describes the Redmi as having a 50 MP dual rear-camera system. The cited Xiaomi material does not establish its front-camera specification, and the product descriptions do not provide a controlled photo comparison.
The iQOO’s listed ultra-wide lens gives a clear hardware distinction, but megapixel counts and camera-module descriptions cannot settle image quality. Compare sample photos and video from both phones if camera results are a deciding factor.

Xiaomi lists IP65 resistance for the Redmi and says its India product page includes four years of OS updates and six years of security updates. Those are Xiaomi’s published support terms for this product page, not an independent verification of future delivery. OriginOS 6.0 is listed for the iQOO, but the cited iQOO material does not establish a matching update commitment or water-resistance rating. That absence does not prove the phone has no rating or support policy; verify the terms for the exact India model before purchase.

Which one should you choose?
- Consider the Redmi if: you prioritize a larger listed display, higher stated battery capacity, IP65 resistance, and Xiaomi’s published India update commitment.
- Consider the iQOO if: you want the listed 1.5K display with a refresh rate up to 144 Hz, an explicitly specified ultra-wide rear camera, or a 32 MP front camera.
- Compare both before paying if: performance, real-world battery life, screen readability, or photo quality is decisive. The cited specifications do not establish a tested winner in those areas.
