For raw specifications, the iQOO 15 has the edge; for a lower listed price and a longer stated update window, the Motorola Edge 70 Max is the stronger value case. On the India store listings checked on October 7, 2026, the iQOO 15 Apex with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage was ₹85,999, while Motorola listed the Edge 70 Max at ₹54,999. That ₹31,000 difference compares different RAM configurations, not matched SKUs, and store prices can change.
iQOO 15 vs Motorola Edge 70 Max: key specifications
The iQOO 15 pairs the higher-tier named processor with a three-camera rear setup that includes a 3x periscope telephoto. The Edge 70 Max has a slightly larger rated battery and Motorola’s stated software-support window. These are specification differences, not proof of which phone performs better in sustained use or takes better photos.

The iQOO 15 is the stronger on-paper choice if processor tier is your priority: iQOO specifies Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, while Motorola specifies Snapdragon 8 Gen 5. That difference identifies the named platforms; it does not establish a sustained gaming, thermal or everyday speed advantage without matched testing.

91mobiles reports Geekbench multi-core scores of 10,579 for the iQOO 15 and 8,890 for the Edge 70 Max, and AnTuTu scores of 3,842,735 and 2,972,932 respectively. Its comparison page does not establish the test protocol, software versions, sample condition or repeatability, so treat those numbers as reported results rather than a controlled head-to-head benchmark: 91mobiles’ comparison.
How do the displays and cameras compare?
Display
Both phones have large, high-resolution AMOLED displays: iQOO lists a 6.85-inch panel at 3168 × 1440, while Motorola lists a 6.8-inch 1440 × 3168 Extreme AMOLED panel with a refresh rate of up to 144Hz. Motorola’s refresh-rate figure is a manufacturer specification; brightness figures on product pages are likewise claims, not independent measurements or a direct comparison of visibility in real use.
Rear cameras
The iQOO’s listed rear hardware includes three 50MP cameras, among them a 3x periscope telephoto. Motorola identifies a 50MP Sony LYTIA 710 main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide and a 2MP camera on its India page; Motorola’s launch announcement also describes the main camera as a 50MP Sony LYTIA 710: Motorola’s launch announcement. The iQOO’s specified telephoto offers a distinct hardware option for distant subjects, but megapixel counts and camera components alone do not show which phone produces better images.

Battery, charging and durability
Motorola lists a 7100mAh silicon-carbon battery, 100mAh more rated capacity than the iQOO 15’s listed 7000mAh battery. iQOO specifies faster maximum charging figures on paper: 100W wired and 40W wireless, compared with Motorola’s 90W wired and 25W wireless. Capacity does not establish longer real-world battery life, and the listed charging wattages do not establish charging time; those depend on conditions and testing.
For protection, iQOO lists IP68/IP69. Motorola lists IP66/IP68/IP69 and MIL-STD 810H. These are manufacturer-listed ratings and standards, not a guarantee against damage in every exposure or use case.
Software support: Motorola states a defined update window
Both product pages list Android 16, and iQOO specifies OriginOS 6. Motorola’s India page states up to three years of OS upgrades and up to five years of security patches. The cited iQOO pages do not give a comparable India update-duration commitment, so the available information does not establish an equivalent support period for the iQOO 15.

India price difference and configuration caveat
On October 7, 2026, the iQOO India store showed ₹85,999 for the iQOO 15 Apex with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage; its listed MRP was ₹92,999. Motorola India showed ₹54,999 for the Edge 70 Max, against an MRP of ₹89,999, and listed 8GB/256GB and 12GB/256GB versions. The displayed prices differ by ₹31,000, but the Motorola listing does not identify which RAM variant the shown price applies to. This is not a confirmed like-for-like comparison, and discounts, stock and retailer prices may change. Check the exact configuration and current price on the iQOO India store and Motorola India product page before buying.
Which one should you choose?
Choose the iQOO 15 if
- You prioritize the higher-tier named processor specification.
- You want a rear camera setup with a specifically listed 3x periscope telephoto.
- You are considering the listed 12GB/256GB India configuration and its higher observed store price fits your budget.
Choose the Motorola Edge 70 Max if
- You want the lower displayed India store price, while checking which RAM configuration that price applies to.
- You value a slightly higher rated battery capacity and Motorola’s stated update window.
- You prefer a phone whose India listing includes IP66/IP68/IP69 and MIL-STD 810H specifications.
The published specifications support these priority-based distinctions, but do not settle comparative camera quality, sustained performance, thermals or all-day battery life. The 91mobiles comparison reports PCMark battery runtimes of 13h 07m for the iQOO 15 and 16h 38m for the Edge 70 Max, but does not establish enough test detail to treat those figures as a reliable prediction for every user.
