The 15R also lists a 7600mAh typical battery, compared with 5000mAh typical for the 12. That is a substantial capacity difference on paper, but it does not guarantee a particular number of extra hours: actual endurance depends on usage and other conditions.

That gives the iQOO 12 a dedicated telephoto option for subjects you want to frame at a distance. The 12 also lists a higher-resolution ultra-wide. Those hardware distinctions do not prove which phone produces better photos; the cited product pages do not provide independent, directly comparable camera tests.

Which should you choose?
- Consider the iQOO 15R if the listed 7600mAh battery or newer Snapdragon platform is your priority, or if the lower-priced 8GB/256GB India-store configuration suits your needs.
- Consider the iQOO 12 5G if you want its dedicated 3x periscope telephoto, larger listed display, 120W charging specification, or the higher-RAM and higher-storage configuration shown on the store page.
Neither set of specifications settles real-world performance, endurance, charging time or image quality. Compare the exact RAM and storage configurations and current India prices before buying.
