If your iPhone photo is blurry in the top-left corner, first remove anything covering or affecting the camera, clean the camera glass, and take a new test photo. Then restart the iPhone and install the latest iOS update available for it. A corner blur alone does not identify a failed part; if it persists after these checks, contact Apple Support or arrange service.
First, pinpoint where the blur appears
“Top-left” might mean the upper-left of the saved image or the physical upper-left of the phone. Check whether the blur appears in the saved photo, the Camera app preview, or both. Test the front and rear cameras separately; if useful, compare a photo with a video. Note which views are affected so you can describe the symptom if you seek support. A difference between cameras can help narrow down the issue, but does not by itself prove a component has failed.
Try these fixes in order

Remove anything near or over the camera
Take off the case, camera film, lens protector, and other camera accessories. Check that nothing blocks the camera opening and that no magnet is close to it. Take a test photo before putting anything back on. Apple includes removing accessories that may block the camera or place a magnet near it in its troubleshooting guidance: Apple Support: If the camera or flash on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch isn’t working.

Clean the camera glass
Gently wipe the front and back camera lenses with a clean microfiber cloth, then take another photo. Apple’s instruction is: “If the photo is blurry, clean the front and back camera lenses with a microfiber cloth.” A microfiber lens cloth is a simple tool for this step, but cleaning is not a guaranteed fix if the glass or camera is damaged.

Restart and update iOS
Restart the iPhone, check for the latest iOS version available for your device, install it if an update is offered, and test again. Retesting after each change helps you tell whether the blur has changed.

Check whether the issue is limited to one view
Compare the front and rear cameras and look at the saved image, not just the live preview. If a saved photo is sharp but the preview looks soft, the captured image may not be defective; check the viewing conditions and whether the issue occurs in another camera app before drawing conclusions.

What persistent corner blur could mean
Obstruction or a smudge can affect the image before it is recorded. Other possibilities to investigate include damaged camera cover glass, condensation, focus behavior, or a camera-app issue. These are troubleshooting possibilities, not a diagnosis: neither the location of the blur nor the available symptom description establishes which cause applies to your iPhone. iFixit’s iPhone blurry camera troubleshooting guide discusses these checks.

Contact Apple Support or arrange service if the same camera still produces blur after removing accessories, cleaning the lens, restarting, updating, and retesting. Seek help sooner if you see visible damage or internal haze, or if the camera or flash does not work properly. Avoid opening the iPhone or buying a replacement camera module based only on a blurry corner; the symptom alone cannot confirm that a particular part needs replacement. Apple recommends service when its troubleshooting steps do not resolve a camera or flash problem.
