What differs most in everyday use?
Display size and refresh rate
The OnePlus 15 has a larger 6.78-inch display and a listed peak refresh rate of up to 165Hz. The iPhone 17 has a 6.3-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display with ProMotion ranging from 1Hz to 120Hz, according to the Gadgets360 comparison. A larger screen may suit gaming and video; the smaller iPhone is easier to handle for buyers who prefer a more compact phone. The peak refresh-rate figures alone do not establish which display looks better.

- Please check with your carrier to verify compatibility.

- The device does not come with headphones or a SIM card. It does include a generic (Mfi certified) charger and charging cable.
- Tested for battery health and guaranteed to have a minimum battery capacity of 80%.
Android or iOS
The OnePlus 15 runs Android 16 with OxygenOS 16, while the iPhone 17 runs iOS 26, as reported in the Gadgets360 comparison. This is a practical ecosystem choice rather than a quality ranking: consider which platform you already use and whether you rely on apps, services, or other devices tied to it.
Charging and battery claims
Gadgets360 reports a 7,300mAh battery for the OnePlus 15, with 120W wired and 50W wireless charging. For iPhone 17, the comparison cites Apple’s claim of up to 30 hours of video playback and support for MagSafe, Qi, and Qi2 charging. Battery capacity and a manufacturer’s video-playback estimate are different measures; they do not provide a standardized head-to-head endurance result.

Cameras
The comparison describes the OnePlus 15 with three 50MP rear cameras: main, telephoto, and ultrawide. It lists a 48MP main and 48MP ultrawide camera for the iPhone 17. Megapixel counts and camera counts do not, by themselves, show which phone takes better photos or video.

Gadgets360’s feature article gives the OnePlus 15 as about 161.4 × 76.7 × 8.2mm and 215g, versus 149.6 × 71.5 × 7.95mm and 177g for the iPhone 17. That makes the iPhone the smaller and lighter option in those reported dimensions. However, Gadgets360’s separate side-by-side table gives a different OnePlus weight and display resolution, so those OnePlus figures should be treated cautiously.

Gadgets360’s feature article and its separate comparison table conflict on some OnePlus 15 details, including display resolution and weight; the feature article also gives inconsistent Bluetooth versions in different sections. Those specifications are omitted or qualified above rather than presented as settled facts. Apple’s iPhone 17 technical specifications page is an official reference for checking Apple’s model details. Confirm the exact India model and current manufacturer specifications before relying on fine-grained comparisons, particularly for regional variants and resistance ratings.
