Sony describes Into the Radius 2 as a VR survival shooter set in the hostile Pechorsk zone. Players explore, scavenge, complete missions, and try to return from expeditions. The listing highlights firearms with modular parts and maintenance, configurable chest rigs and other equipment, enemy entities, lethal anomalies, and a changing Tide cycle.
The PlayStation Store advertises eye-tracked foveated rendering, custom haptic feedback, 3D Audio, PlayStation Activities, and Trophies. These are listed features, not independent performance measurements. Headset vibration, controller vibration, and trigger effects are described as optional.
The listing also warns that PlayStation VR2 is not for children under 12 and that some players may experience motion sickness.
What changed from the original launch announcement?
