The B50 has 16GB of memory and a low-profile, 70W design; the B60 has 24GB and higher listed compute and memory-bandwidth figures. Intel also announced Project Battlematrix, a Xeon-based concept supporting up to eight B60 cards. The announcement’s launch timelines are historical, and the sources cited here do not verify the title’s $299 B50 price or current retail stock.
What are the Intel Arc Pro B50 and B60?
They are Intel workstation graphics cards in its Arc Pro B-Series, aimed at professional graphics and AI inference workloads. Intel’s May 2025 announcement described uses including architecture, engineering and construction, rendering, design, content creation, and AI inference. The two cards differ substantially in memory capacity, bandwidth, board power, and physical design.
Intel’s B50 datasheet names AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Maya, and Photoshop as example software. That does not establish certification or identical compatibility for every version, operating system, driver, or workstation. Intel says certification depends on completion and system configuration, and driver support can vary by provider. Check the application vendor’s requirements and the exact system configuration before purchase.

What is distinctive about the Arc Pro B50?
The B50 combines 16GB of GDDR6 with a 70W total board power rating in a low-profile, dual-slot card measuring 168mm by 69mm. Intel specifies no separate auxiliary power connector, which may make the card relevant to compact workstation configurations, subject to the host system’s support and cooling.
Before choosing it, confirm that the chassis has room for the card and two slots, that the motherboard and operating system are supported, and that the relevant application and driver combination meets your needs. Its listed outputs are four mini-DisplayPort 2.1 connectors, so display cabling may also affect a setup.

How much memory does the Arc Pro B60 have?
The B60 has 24GB of GDDR6 on a 192-bit interface, with 456GB/s memory bandwidth according to Intel’s current specification page. Intel lists 20 Xe-cores, 160 XMX engines, 197 peak Int8 TOPS, and 200W typical board power. It uses PCI Express 5.0 x8 and supports four displays, with HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 2.1 outputs listed.
The B60’s higher memory capacity and power rating distinguish it from the B50, but those figures alone do not establish real-world performance. Application, model, system configuration, drivers, and workload all matter.

What is Project Battlematrix?
Project Battlematrix is a Xeon-based, configurable multi-GPU workstation platform Intel announced alongside the B-Series cards on May 19, 2025. Intel said it could support up to eight Arc Pro B60 GPUs, amounting to up to 192GB of aggregate video memory, and described support for models with up to 150 billion parameters.
Those are Intel’s platform claims, not independent validation or proof of a currently available retail workstation. The announcement does not establish that the GPUs’ memory forms one unified pool, or that every model up to the stated parameter count will fit or run efficiently. Actual results depend on software and how a workload uses multiple GPUs.

Can a workstation use multiple Arc Pro B60 GPUs?
Intel described Project Battlematrix as supporting up to eight B60 GPUs. That is a platform-level maximum from the announcement, not a guarantee that any workstation can accommodate eight cards. A suitable system must be designed for its physical slots, power delivery, cooling, motherboard and CPU configuration, and software stack. The cited launch material does not confirm a currently sold Battlematrix system.
Intel said its cards work with consumer and professional drivers on Windows and a containerized software stack on Linux. Confirm support for the particular card, operating system, driver, application, and host system rather than assuming that a multi-GPU configuration will work because the platform concept allows it.

What did Intel announce about price and availability?
The title’s $299 B50 price is not verified by the official sources cited here, so it should not be treated as confirmed current pricing. Current retail prices, inventory, and regional availability are likewise not established.
In its May 19, 2025 announcement, Intel said B60 add-in-board partner sampling would start in June 2025 and that the B50 would be available through Intel-authorized resellers starting in July 2025. Those were launch-era timelines, not a current stock check. Intel named ASRock, Gunnir, Lanner, Maxsun, Onix, Senao, and Sparkle in connection with B60 sampling; that does not establish a current retail listing from any of them.
Which card should you consider?
- Consider the B50 if its 16GB memory capacity suits the workload and a low-profile card with 70W total board power and no auxiliary power connector fits the workstation’s constraints.
- Consider the B60 if the workload calls for its 24GB memory capacity or if you are evaluating a system designed around its higher typical board power and multi-GPU capability.
- Verify before buying either card: application and driver support, operating-system compatibility, chassis clearance, slot availability, power and cooling, display connectors, and current price and stock in your region.
Neither card can be declared the better choice for a particular application from the published specifications alone; that requires workload-specific evidence.
