The Infinix Note Edge stands out on paper for its curved 1.5K display and larger 6,500mAh battery. The Redmi Note 15 SE 5G has a stated four-year OS and six-year security-update commitment, a 20MP front camera, and a lower price in a retailer snapshot. Neither phone can be called the overall winner from specifications alone: comparable independent performance, camera, and battery tests were not available.
How the Infinix Note Edge and Redmi Note 15 SE 5G compare
Both are India-market 5G phones with large AMOLED displays, 50MP main cameras, and 45W charging. Their published specifications point to different priorities rather than a clear all-around winner.

The Note Edge has a slightly larger listed screen: 6.78 inches compared with 6.77 inches. Infinix describes its panel as curved and 1.5K, with peak brightness up to 4,500 nits. Xiaomi lists a 120Hz AMOLED panel at 2,392 × 1,080 and also publishes peak-brightness figures.

Those descriptions are not a direct screen-quality test. The phones’ published dimensions and brightness claims use different specifications, and peak brightness alone does not establish readability or image quality in everyday use. Choose based on whether the curved design appeals to you and how the exact panels look to your eyes.
Performance: Dimensity 7100 or Snapdragon 6 Gen 3?
Infinix names the MediaTek Dimensity 7100; Xiaomi names Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 3. The processor names establish which platforms the phones use, but they do not show which is faster in a matched workload.

No comparable independent benchmark or real-game test was established for these two models. If gaming or demanding apps are central to your decision, look for tests that use the same apps, settings, and conditions rather than treating chip names as a verdict.

Camera differences: rear setup and selfies
Both phones list a 50MP main rear camera. Infinix’s product content highlights a Live Photo mode; Xiaomi lists an additional 2MP depth camera and a 20MP front camera. The Redmi’s stated selfie-camera resolution is a useful specification for buyers who take frequent self-portraits or video calls.

Megapixel counts and camera features do not establish which phone produces better photos. The published specifications do not settle low-light quality, color, video stabilization, or overall image processing, and comparable photo samples were not established.

Infinix lists a 6,500mAh battery, while Xiaomi lists 5,800mAh. Both manufacturers specify 45W charging. The Note Edge therefore has the larger stated battery capacity, but capacity alone cannot predict how long either phone lasts: screen use, software, signal conditions, and other factors affect runtime. No comparable battery-life test was established.

How many years of updates does each phone get?
Xiaomi states that the Redmi Note 15 SE 5G will receive four years of OS updates and six years of security patches. Infinix’s product information shows XOS 16, but a comparable update-duration commitment was not established. That means Xiaomi provides a specific published support period in the available information; it does not establish how long Infinix will support the Note Edge.
What is the price difference?
When accessed in 2026, 91mobiles displayed the Infinix Note Edge at ₹26,999 on Flipkart and the Redmi Note 15 SE 5G at ₹24,999 on Amazon—a ₹2,000 difference in that listing snapshot. These are retailer listings, not official launch prices or guaranteed current prices. The seller, stock, offers, and variant can change the amount. See the 91mobiles comparison listing.
Both manufacturers list 6GB/128GB, 8GB/128GB, and 8GB/256GB options. Before comparing live offers, check that the two prices are for the same RAM and storage configuration, and confirm the seller and current availability.
