The Infinix Note 50x 5G+ is the lower-cost choice with a larger screen; the vivo X300 FE is a compact premium phone with a sharper AMOLED display, more extensive camera hardware and a longer stated update commitment. At the listed India prices, they are not close substitutes: choose the Infinix if price and screen size matter most, and consider the vivo if its premium features justify the much higher outlay.
India price difference: the phones occupy different price classes
Prices depend on the storage configuration and when you check. Infinix’s official product listing displayed the Note 50x 5G+ at ₹14,999 against a ₹16,999 MRP when accessed; it lists 6GB/128GB and 8GB/128GB variants. The listing does not tie the displayed ₹14,999 price to a specific RAM variant, so it should not be treated as a confirmed price for both. Infinix India product listing

The vivo figures are different price snapshots, not a single current offer: its May 6, 2026 launch announcement initially set 12GB/256GB at ₹79,999 and 12GB/512GB at ₹89,999, while the September announcement listed higher prices and added the 8GB/256GB configuration. The live store display for 12GB/256GB was ₹94,999 when accessed. Check the official store or retailer for the price available at purchase. On the available snapshots, the vivo costs substantially more than the displayed Infinix price. The exact difference depends on which vivo configuration and price snapshot you compare, and the Infinix listing does not identify which RAM variant carries the displayed price.

Display and size: larger LCD or compact, higher-resolution AMOLED
The Note 50x has a 6.67-inch LCD with 720 × 1600 HD+ resolution and refresh rates of 60Hz, 90Hz or 120Hz. Infinix lists 560 nits typical and 672 nits peak brightness. The larger panel gives more screen area, but its listed resolution is lower.
The X300 FE has a 6.31-inch AMOLED display at 2640 × 1216 and 120Hz. Its smaller size suits someone looking for a more compact phone, while the higher listed resolution and AMOLED panel are the more premium display specifications. Performance and software
Infinix specifies a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultimate processor and XOS 15 based on Android 15. vivo specifies a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, with Android 16 and OriginOS 6. The listed hardware places the X300 FE in a more premium specification tier, but these details alone do not provide a measured speed ratio or prove how either phone performs in a particular game or workload.
vivo states that the X300 FE will receive five years of OS upgrades and seven years of security updates. No equivalent support-period commitment for the Note 50x was established in the cited Infinix material, so buyers should not infer that its update period is the same. Camera hardware: the vivo adds a dedicated telephoto lens
Infinix advertises a 50MP dual rear camera and 4K video recording for the Note 50x. vivo lists a three-camera rear system on the X300 FE: a 50MP main camera with autofocus and OIS, a 50MP telephoto camera with OIS, and an 8MP fixed-focus wide-angle camera. Its front camera is 50MP with autofocus.
The dedicated telephoto camera gives the vivo a distinct hardware option for distant subjects; the listed specifications do not establish that it takes better real-world photos overall. No same-condition camera test is available here, so image quality, low-light results and video comparisons cannot be concluded from megapixel counts alone. Battery, charging and durability
Infinix lists a 5,500mAh semi-solid-state battery, up to 45W wired charging and 10W reverse charging. vivo lists a 6,500mAh typical-capacity battery (6,350mAh rated minimum), 90W wired FlashCharge and 40W wireless charging. vivo says maximum charging requires the original charger and cable, and actual charging power varies with conditions.

Those manufacturer figures do not establish comparative battery life or charging time. Ingress protection differs on the listed specifications: Infinix states IP64, while vivo states IP68/IP69. Infinix also lists an MIL-810H certification claim. These ratings and claims are not a substitute for independent testing of long-term durability. - You want a substantially lower displayed price and can accept that retail prices may change.
- You prefer a larger 6.67-inch screen for everyday viewing.
- The listed essentials—Dimensity 7300 Ultimate, 50MP dual camera, 5,500mAh battery and up to 45W wired charging—fit your needs.
Consider the vivo X300 FE if
- You specifically want a more compact 6.31-inch phone with a higher-resolution AMOLED display.
- You value its listed telephoto camera with OIS, wireless charging, higher ingress ratings or stated long-term update schedule.
- You are comfortable paying a premium whose exact amount depends on configuration and the price available when you buy.
In short, the Note 50x is the price-and-screen-size pick; the X300 FE is the compact premium option on paper. The specifications support those distinctions, but they do not replace hands-on evidence about camera quality, heat, battery endurance or charging speed.
