Which phone is better for gaming?
GT 30: gaming controls and a faster listed refresh rate
The GT 30 has the stronger gaming-specific feature set in the listed specifications: its Dimensity 7400 chipset, 144Hz display and integrated physical shoulder triggers are aimed at gaming. The triggers provide physical controls that the Note Edge’s listed features do not identify. Infinix says the GT 30 supports up to 90FPS gaming, but that is not a promise that every game will run at that frame rate; game support, graphics settings and conditions matter.
Note Edge: gaming claims without the GT’s physical triggers
Infinix also advertises up to 90FPS gaming for the Note Edge. Its 120Hz screen has a lower listed refresh rate than the GT 30’s 144Hz panel, and the product listing does not identify integrated shoulder triggers. The chipset names alone do not establish a measured performance gap: the available comparison does not provide comparable benchmark results for the two phones.

How do the displays differ?
Both phones are listed with 6.78-inch, 1.5K-class AMOLED displays. The GT 30 prioritizes a higher 144Hz refresh rate, while the Note Edge combines a 120Hz refresh rate with a curved screen. A higher refresh rate can be useful for supported content and games; the curved design is a separate preference, not evidence that one screen is universally better.
Which has the longer-lasting battery?
The Note Edge has the larger stated battery capacity: 6,500mAh versus 5,500mAh in the GT 30, a 1,000mAh difference. Both official listings specify 45W charging. Capacity alone does not establish real-world runtime, which varies with brightness, network conditions, apps and gaming.

91mobiles reports battery-test results of 15 hours 9 minutes for the Note Edge and 10 hours 29 minutes for the GT 30. Those are that outlet’s results, not a guarantee of everyday battery life; the comparison passage does not give enough test-protocol detail to treat them as universal or independently reproducible. Infinix cautions on its Note Edge page that results shown are based on controlled Infinix Labs tests and actual results may vary with the testing environment.
What are the camera differences?
Infinix lists a 64MP Sony dual-camera system on the GT 30 and a 50MP main camera on the Note Edge. Those descriptions are not a like-for-like measure of photo quality: megapixel count alone does not show how well a phone handles focus, exposure, color, low light or video. The available specifications do not establish a winner for image quality.

Which one should you choose?
- Choose the GT 30 if gaming controls, a 144Hz display and the GT line’s gaming-oriented features matter most.
- Choose the Note Edge if you prioritize its larger stated battery or prefer a curved display, and its variant price and availability work for you.
