The POCO F7 has the stronger listed chipset, a larger battery, faster wired charging and an IP68 rating. The Infinix GT 30 Pro 5G stands out for dedicated gaming triggers, a 144Hz display, wireless charging and lower listed weight. There is no verified like-for-like price gap in the available official listings: the Infinix India store shows a price, while POCO’s global specification page does not.

Which phone should you choose?
Choose the POCO F7 for its listed core hardware
The POCO F7 is the more compelling spec-sheet choice if you put a higher priority on its Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor, 6,500mAh typical battery, 90W wired charging or IP68 classification. Its listed 12GB/512GB option also offers more storage than either GT 30 Pro configuration shown in the cited listings.

Choose the Infinix GT 30 Pro for gaming controls and charging flexibility
The GT 30 Pro is the distinctive option if you want physical GT gaming triggers, a display specified up to 144Hz, or wireless charging. Its listed 188g weight is also lower than the POCO F7’s 215.7g figure, though POCO identifies its number as internal lab data.
Infinix’s product FAQ describes the phone as supporting 120FPS gaming. That is a manufacturer claim, not proof that every game runs at that frame rate; actual support and performance depend on the title and conditions. A 144Hz display likewise does not guarantee a game will render at 144 frames per second.

What do the India prices actually show?
Infinix’s India storefront displays an MRP of ₹31,999, inclusive of taxes, for the GT 30 Pro 5G+ 8GB/256GB variant and also presents a 12GB/256GB option. This is a storefront listing, not necessarily the price a buyer will pay from a retailer.
POCO’s global specification page lists 12GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB configurations but gives no retail price. Because the cited sources do not provide matched, current prices for the same market and storage configuration, they do not establish a price difference or universal saving. Check local listings for the exact variant, seller and current price before deciding.

How do the cameras compare on paper?
The Infinix lists a higher-resolution 108MP main camera, while POCO specifies a 50MP Sony IMX882 main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS). Both list an 8MP ultrawide camera; their front-camera specifications are 13MP for Infinix and 20MP for POCO.
Megapixel counts alone do not predict photo quality, and the cited specifications do not include controlled camera comparisons. The POCO’s stated OIS is a concrete hardware distinction, but it is not by itself a complete verdict on image quality.

What the water-resistance ratings mean
Infinix lists IP64 and warns that protection can deteriorate and that submersion damage is not covered. POCO lists IP68 and describes testing in static freshwater up to 1.5m for up to 30 minutes. POCO also cautions that this laboratory condition does not match ordinary consumer use. Neither rating is an invitation to submerge a phone or a guarantee against every liquid exposure.
