You can run prerecorded Marathi stories as a 24/7 YouTube livestream by sending a prepared video playlist to YouTube through an encoder. In YouTube Studio, create or schedule a stream, copy its stream URL and key into your encoder, then preview and monitor the feed. For a continuous channel, also plan stream-session boundaries: YouTube automatically archives streams under 12 hours, so a single uninterrupted 24/7 broadcast is not a dependable way to create a complete replay.
Before you set up the stream
- Check channel eligibility. YouTube says a channel must be verified and have had no live-streaming restrictions in the past 90 days. See YouTube live streaming tips.
- Prepare the episodes. Organize the finished Marathi recordings into a playlist or other feed your encoder can play continuously. Check that each episode’s video and audio are ready for broadcast.
- Clear rights. You are responsible for having the rights needed to livestream the content, including music, and for complying with applicable laws. Confirm that permissions cover the intended territory and any archived replay. See YouTube’s livestream terms and conditions.
- Choose an encoder. YouTube supports software and hardware encoders; its guidance says expensive equipment is not required to get started. The right choice depends on your production setup, not on a YouTube requirement to buy dedicated hardware. See YouTube streaming tips.
Set up a prerecorded Marathi livestream in YouTube Studio
- Open Live Control Room. In YouTube Studio, select Create → Go live. Create a stream now, or use the Manage tab to schedule one. Scheduling can provide a watch page in advance and lets viewers set reminders. Follow YouTube’s encoder setup steps.
- Configure the stream. Enter a clear title and description, choose the stream settings appropriate to the episode feed, and set visibility and other options in Live Control Room. The available options can vary; consult Manage live stream settings for the current controls.
- Copy the stream URL and key. In the stream setup, copy the server URL and stream key into the corresponding fields in your encoder. Treat the key like a password: anyone with it may be able to send a feed to your stream. Do not publish it or share it unnecessarily.
- Load the prerecorded feed. Add your episodes in the order you want them to play. Configure the encoder to repeat the playlist or feed if your setup supports looping. Confirm that the audio is audible and the picture displays correctly.
- Start the encoder and check the preview. Start sending the feed, then verify the incoming picture and sound in Live Control Room before taking the stream live. YouTube recommends preparing ahead, checking the preview, confirming archive files and accessibility, and monitoring the broadcast. See YouTube live streaming tips.
- Go live and keep watch. Once the preview is correct, start the live broadcast from the control room if required by your encoder workflow. Monitor playback, audio and encoder/network status while the playlist runs.
Plan session boundaries and episode replays
YouTube says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived. That limit matters for a 24/7 operation: do not assume that one uninterrupted stream lasting a day or longer will produce a complete replay. Plan how you will end and restart sessions, and separately publish individual episodes or compilations when dependable replay access and episode navigation matter. See YouTube streaming tips.
A continuously repeated stream and a library of on-demand stories serve different needs. The live feed gives viewers a channel to tune into; individual uploads make a particular episode easier to find and replay. If replay completeness matters, maintain those episode uploads independently of the livestream archive.

Protect the channel and keep episodes distinctive
YouTube’s monetization policies apply to live streams and to the channel as a whole. A recurring Marathi story format can be consistent, but episodes should provide distinct substance rather than appear repetitive or mass-produced. Troubleshoot common problems
- You cannot start a livestream: verify the channel and check for live-streaming restrictions within the past 90 days, as well as the channel’s Live Control Room status.
- YouTube receives no feed: confirm the encoder has the correct stream URL and key, that the encoder is actually sending, and that the intended stream is selected in Live Control Room. If the key may have been exposed, replace it in YouTube and update the encoder.
- The preview is black or silent: check that the right playlist and output are selected in the encoder, then verify picture and audio before going live.
- The broadcast stops unexpectedly: check the encoder and network connection, and restore the feed from the encoder. If your setup uses a backup encoder, test its failover in advance; YouTube recommends ongoing audio/video monitoring and failover testing for backup-encoder setups.
- The replay is missing or incomplete: check the stream duration and archive status. YouTube’s automatic archive behavior applies to streams under 12 hours; publish the source episodes separately when viewers need reliable replay access.
