After one month using Vegamour GRO Hair Serum, I noticed my hair looked fuller and felt thicker. That was a change in appearance and feel—not proof that the serum caused new hair growth. Vegamour recommends using it consistently for three to six months, so a month is an early personal check-in, not a complete test.
What I noticed after one month
My encouraging result was in how my hair looked and felt: it seemed to have more volume, and the strands felt thicker to me. I did not establish that new hair had grown, measure a change in strand diameter, or determine whether any difference would last. A change in styling volume or hair feel can be noticeable without demonstrating a change in growth.
This is a personal observation, not a controlled comparison. Without consistent before-and-after photographs or other measurements, it is difficult to separate a product-related difference from ordinary variation in styling, lighting, or how recently hair was washed. I can report what I perceived over the month, but not assign the change to the serum with certainty.

GRO Hair Serum is a leave-in product applied to the scalp. Vegamour’s EU product page directs users to apply a dropperful to the scalp daily, massage it in, and leave it on without rinsing; it says the serum can be used on wet or dry hair. Ingredient details also depend on the package and regional listing. The EU page lists ingredients including water, butylene glycol, glycerin, denatured alcohol, caffeine, turmeric callus conditioned media, bergamot peel oil, clover and mung bean sprout extract, biotin, and peptides. Check the bottle you have for the current ingredient list, particularly if you are avoiding a specific ingredient.
What Vegamour’s study does—and doesn’t—say
Vegamour reports that 93% of participants saw less shedding, 90% saw an improvement in their hair’s appearance, and 83% said their hair felt stronger. Those figures come from a brand-reported 120-day consumer-perception study involving 40 participants who used GRO Hair Serum once daily. They are participants’ reported perceptions, not quantified measurements of hair growth or results from a one-month trial. The product page does not state the study’s publication year. The available product and retailer pages do not establish that the serum caused my one-month change, and they do not show that users should expect visible results within a month. The study’s longer timeline and self-reported outcomes are relevant context, not a guarantee for an individual.

Vegamour says, “For best results, we recommend 3-6 months of consistent use.” That recommendation makes my one-month observation preliminary: it captures what I noticed early, not what a longer routine might do. If you want to assess your own experience, use the product as directed and keep your comparison as consistent as you can. Photos taken in similar lighting, with similar styling and at a similar point in your wash routine can make changes easier to evaluate. Those checks help with comparison; they still cannot prove that a product caused hair growth.

What to keep in mind before trying it
- Be precise about the outcome: fuller-looking hair or a thicker feel is not the same as demonstrating new growth.
- Allow for the recommended timeline: the brand recommends three to six months of consistent use, while its reported study lasted 120 days.
- Check the exact formula: use the ingredients and directions on your own package, since regional formulas and product details may change.
- Keep expectations personal: my positive impression after a month is not evidence that every user will see the same change.
