Yes—an eligible YouTube Partner Program creator can earn YouTube Premium revenue when Premium members watch an always-on live stream. The stream must qualify for Watch Page monetization, including acceptance of YouTube’s Watch Page Monetization Module. YouTube says Premium revenue is distributed according to how much members watch a creator’s content, but it does not publish a fixed per-view rate, a Premium revenue-share percentage, or a special formula for 24/7 streams.
How Premium revenue works on a 24/7 stream
A Premium member pays YouTube for a subscription. When that member watches eligible creator content, YouTube allocates part of the membership revenue to creators based on member viewing. YouTube describes watch time as the allocation basis, but its public guidance does not provide a formula that lets a creator calculate the payment for a particular stream or viewer.
YouTube defines Watch Pages as pages for long-form videos and live streams. To earn Watch Page ad and Premium revenue from eligible videos, creators must accept the Watch Page Monetization Module. YouTube’s Premium guidance also says creators earning Premium revenue from long-form videos need the module and Watch Page ads turned on. See YouTube’s Watch Page monetization instructions and Premium revenue guidance.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsDoes every stream minute have a fixed value?
No public per-minute or per-view Premium value is specified. YouTube says distribution depends on how much Premium members watch your content; that is not the same as publishing a uniform payment for each view or viewer-hour. The creator’s own YouTube reporting is the source to consult for actual earnings.

Is there a special bonus for running continuously?
YouTube’s public guidance does not identify a Premium multiplier, bonus, or separate allocation rule for a 24/7 stream. A stream’s continuous runtime alone does not establish how much Premium revenue it will earn.
What a creator needs to qualify
- Eligible monetization: The channel and content must be eligible to earn revenue under YouTube’s monetization rules.
- Watch Page Monetization Module: Accept the module for Watch Page monetization of long-form and live-stream videos.
- Watch Page ads enabled: YouTube’s Premium-specific guidance says this is needed alongside the module for creators earning Premium revenue from long-form videos.
- Premium member viewing: The relevant audience action is a Premium member watching eligible content. YouTube’s public material does not specify a minimum member-view threshold for an always-on stream.
For the broader monetization requirements, see YouTube’s overview of how to earn money on YouTube.

Premium revenue is different from ads and fan funding
A live stream may generate several distinct kinds of revenue. A Premium member watching is not the same event as an ad impression serving or a viewer buying a fan-funding feature.
Recommended Free Tools
| Revenue source | What qualifies | Relevant settings or module | Reporting or published rate |
|---|---|---|---|
| YouTube Premium | A Premium member watches eligible content. | Watch Page Monetization Module; YouTube’s Premium guidance also calls for Watch Page ads to be turned on for long-form content. | Allocation is described as based on how much Premium members watch. No public fixed per-view rate or Premium percentage is stated; Premium revenue reporting may be available by video. |
| Live ads | An eligible ad impression serves during or around the stream. | Live-stream monetization and ad controls apply. YouTube says pre-roll and display ads are automatically enabled when monetization is on; mid-rolls can be automatic or manually controlled. | Ad slots are not guaranteed to serve. YouTube says live and replay ad revenue can be viewed in Analytics using the Live filter. |
| Fan funding | A viewer buys a membership or uses an eligible live feature such as Super Chat or Super Stickers. | Commerce Product Module and feature eligibility apply. | YouTube lists 70% of net revenue for channel memberships and specified fan-funding features; this is not a Premium rate. |
YouTube’s live monetization guidance covers ads, Super Chat, Super Stickers, and channel memberships: Monetize your live stream. Its earnings overview lists 55% of net Watch Page advertising revenue and 70% of net revenue from memberships and specified fan-funding features. Those figures apply to those sources, not Premium subscription revenue: YouTube partner earnings overview.

- Turn on the Bright Lights: With the built-in RGB lighting, take your gaming experience to the next level by pressing the MSI LED button to cycle through lighting options. Customize lighting even further with MSI Center software.
An ad slot that does not serve does not prove that Premium revenue is absent. Likewise, seeing Premium watch time does not mean an ad played. Keep each revenue source separate when interpreting results.
How to check actual earnings
- Open YouTube Studio and go to Analytics for the relevant channel or content.
- For live-stream and replay ad revenue, use the Live filter in YouTube Analytics as described in YouTube’s live monetization guidance.
- For Premium revenue, check the available Premium revenue report. YouTube says downloadable reports may show watch time and earnings by video for creators who have access to them; availability can vary.
- Compare reported earnings for the applicable video and period rather than estimating from total broadcast hours. YouTube does not publish a universal rate that converts hours of continuous playback into Premium income.
YouTube also says watch time from downloaded videos is recorded and incorporated when a Premium member next signs in online. Background playback while using other apps or with the screen off counts toward watch time. These statements concern watch time; YouTube does not publish a separate payment formula for those viewing modes. Details appear in YouTube’s Premium help page.

Why you should not calculate a Premium payout from hours
Multiplying stream hours by an assumed rate is not a reliable estimate. The public guidance provides no fixed Premium per-view amount, no universal RPM for a 24/7 stream, and no stream-specific multiplier. It describes an allocation based on Premium-member viewing without publishing the full calculation. Use the channel’s YouTube reporting for realized earnings, and treat projections based on an invented rate as speculation.

Neither is stated as the Premium revenue share.

Keeping an always-on stream running
A continuously available stream is a distribution choice, not a guaranteed revenue level. If you use a computer-based setup, the stream depends on that computer, streaming software, and internet connection remaining available. A cloud service is an alternative for creators who want uploaded videos to keep looping without leaving a home computer running.
Or let it run in the cloud
StreamNeo keeps an uploaded-video YouTube stream running from the cloud: upload a recording or make a playlist, add your YouTube stream key, and go live. Nothing has to stay on at home; uploads stream as made, up to 4K 60fps, at one flat price per slot, with automatic recovery if YouTube drops the stream. The first day is free with no card. Monthly service is $9.99 per month. For a stream that depends on copyrighted or reused material, review YouTube’s policies and the copyright safety checklist; using a streaming tool does not itself establish monetization eligibility.
