The 2026 Emmy Awards replay is not on Prime Video: U.S. viewers should check Peacock, where the Television Academy confirmed the ceremony was available on demand. Prime Video becomes the Emmys’ exclusive global home starting with the 2027 ceremony, which the Academy says will stream free. Where to watch the 2026 Emmy Awards replay in the U.S.

The 78th Primetime Emmy Awards aired September 14, 2026, at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT on NBC and streamed on Peacock. The Television Academy’s post-event announcement confirms the ceremony was available on demand on Peacock.

  2. Check the current listing to see whether the replay is still available. The Academy has not stated an expiration date for the on-demand replay.

Why the 2026 ceremony is not on Prime Video

The Academy and Prime Video announced a six-year agreement that starts with the 2027 ceremony; it does not make Prime Video the official replay service for the 2026 event. The Academy’s October 6, 2026 announcement says Prime Video will be the Emmys’ exclusive global home beginning in 2027.

How to watch the Emmys on Prime Video in 2027

For the ceremony beginning in 2027, look for the event on Prime Video. The Academy says the stream will be free in more than 240 countries and territories. Event-specific start times and replay details should be checked when they are announced.

Watching the 2026 Emmys outside the U.S.

Availability depends on your country or territory, so don’t assume that Peacock or a U.S. broadcast option applies internationally. Open the Television Academy’s Where to Watch the Emmy Awards guide and find your location. Its listings include, for example, an MBC1 encore in the Middle East and on-demand availability through LG Channels in the Nordics. Regional broadcasters, schedules, and replay windows vary.
