Start with the Olympic Council of Asia’s Asian Games Hub, then check the official broadcaster or streaming service in your country for the sport you want. The OCA described the Hub as a free worldwide source of live streams and replays, but local services can carry different events, schedules, and replay windows. Aichi-Nagoya 2026 was scheduled to close on October 4, 2026, so check a service’s current catalog rather than assuming a live stream or replay is still available.

Where can I watch the Asian Games?

The OCA’s Asian Games Hub is the worldwide starting point. In its announcement, the OCA said the Hub would provide free live streams and replays for fans in Asia and around the world, accessible on internet-connected devices. That describes the announced service scope; check the Hub’s current catalog and confirm that the stream plays from your location.

If the event is not listed or available there, look for the official television network or streaming provider in your country. Broadcast rights are territorial: the OCA says it owns Asian Games broadcast rights subject to the host city contract, and on September 15, 2026, it reported that 23 rights-holding broadcasters had signed up. That announcement did not name all 23, so the examples below are not a complete country directory.

How to find the right stream or replay

  1. Search the OCA Asian Games Hub. Look up the Games and the specific sport in the Hub’s live or replay catalog. The OCA announcement names smartphones, tablets, smart TVs, and computers as supported device types; it says the OTT service does not require a cable subscription or set-top box.
  2. Check your country’s official broadcaster. If the Hub does not show the event, check the official television network or streaming service where you live. Availability on a service in one country does not establish availability elsewhere.
  3. Open the event-level schedule. A Games landing page is not proof that a particular sport or session is streamable. Check the sport’s event details and schedule: U-NEXT, for example, warned that some events could not be streamed and schedules could change.
  4. For on-demand viewing, check the archive itself. The OCA described the Hub as offering replays, and AIS announced reruns on AIS PLAY. Neither announcement specifies how long replays remain available. Since Aichi-Nagoya 2026 was scheduled to end October 4, check the service directly for any post-event archive.

Official viewing options confirmed in selected markets

These examples show how local coverage can differ. They do not establish availability in every country or territory.

Market Official destination What was announced or listed What to check
Worldwide starting point OCA Asian Games Hub The OCA described free live streams and replays for fans in Asia and worldwide. Confirm that the sport or event is listed and playable where you are; the announcement gives no replay-retention period.
Japan TBS, TVer, and U-NEXT The Japan Association of Athletics Federations listed TBS terrestrial broadcasts, TVer real-time streaming and highlights, and U-NEXT streams across up to seven simultaneous channels for 20-plus sports. U-NEXT said some events might not be streamable and schedules could change. Check the specific event and current access terms.
Thailand AIS PLAY AIS announced official OTT and IPTV rights, with live coverage, highlights, and reruns. The announcement does not state replay end dates or detailed sport-by-sport coverage.
China CCTV Asian Games portal The portal displayed a live closing-ceremony link and dated daily-programming pages for September 19 through October 4. The portal listing does not establish access outside China or continuing archive availability.

Why coverage varies by sport and service

A host broadcast signal and a country’s consumer offering are not necessarily the same thing. The OCA’s host broadcaster plan called for live coverage of 28 sports, ENG coverage of 15 others, English commentary in ten sports, daily highlights, and an “After the Games” review. Those are production plans, not a guarantee that every local platform carried every program.

When comparing two available services, check the details that affect your viewing: whether the exact event is offered in your country, whether it is live or on demand, replay retention, any account or payment requirement, concurrent channels, commentary language, device support, and the published schedule. Access, pricing, and language terms should be confirmed on the service; they are not fully specified in the announcements cited here.

Can I watch Asian Games replays?

Possibly, depending on the service and when you check. The OCA described its Hub as including replays, while AIS announced reruns for AIS PLAY. The cited announcements do not set a guaranteed post-event retention period. After the scheduled October 4, 2026 close, use the relevant service’s current archive listing to see whether the session is still available.
