South Park: The End of Obesity is listed as a Paramount+ exclusive event, making Paramount+ the official streaming destination. Search for the title in the Paramount+ catalog for your country before subscribing: the original release announcement named launch markets in 2024, but it does not confirm current availability everywhere or whether playback works when you travel.
Where to stream The End of Obesity
Paramount+ is the official service identified for the special. Paramount+’s guide to South Park exclusive events described the special as streaming exclusively on Paramount+ when the guide was published on June 7, 2024. The South Park special-events page currently lists The End of Obesity under “Watch South Park Special Events on Paramount+” and links to the service.

To check your options, search for the exact title in the Paramount+ app or website for your current country. A launch announcement or an official listing on a regional site does not establish that the title is currently in every country’s catalog. If it does not appear, check whether an authorized distributor in your country lists it and whether that listing is live.
Original premiere dates and markets
Paramount+ announced the special’s premiere for May 24, 2024, in the United States and Canada. The announcement listed May 25, 2024, for the United Kingdom, Australia, Latin America, Brazil, France, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, and Austria. Those are the announced launch markets, not a current map of availability. The May 15, 2024 announcement provides the original release schedule.

Can you watch it while traveling?
The sources establishing Paramount+ as the official destination do not specify whether a subscriber can play this special outside their home country. Check the service’s current catalog and playback terms for the country you are visiting; availability at home alone does not confirm travel playback.
Is it available to rent or buy elsewhere?
Do not assume an Amazon Video rental or purchase is available in your country. The Prime Video listing reviewed showed the title as unavailable, while JustWatch’s US page reported Amazon Video rental or purchase alongside Paramount+ streaming. These are conflicting, market-specific signals, not confirmation of a working offer. Check the current listing in your own market before relying on it: Prime Video and JustWatch US.

The official synopsis says new weight-loss drugs affect South Park, and that the kids take action after Cartman is denied access to medicine that could change his life. This is a plot description, not medical guidance.
