For the 2026–27 season, Islanders fans in the local market should start with MSG Networks for TV or DAZN for streaming; U.S. viewers outside the market should check ESPN+. National broadcasts and certain NHL Network games can change the right option for a specific matchup, so verify the game on the Islanders schedule before choosing a service. Official goalie statistics are available from the NHL and the Islanders, though neither page establishes an exact update delay.
Find the right service for the game
First check the date-specific Islanders schedule and its broadcast listing. Availability depends on your location and whether the game is regional or nationally exclusive; a service that carries the team’s regional games may not carry a particular national matchup.
| Viewer and game | Where to start | Important qualification |
|---|---|---|
| Local U.S. viewer, regional game | MSG Networks on TV; DAZN for local streaming | Access and account-transition details can vary. Check current DAZN guidance and the game listing. |
| U.S. viewer outside the Islanders’ local market | ESPN+ | The NHL says certain regional games are carried by NHL Network outside local markets and are not available on ESPN+. Check the specific listing. |
| Nationally exclusive game | The service named on the Islanders schedule | Possible listings include ABC/ESPN, TNT/HBO Max, and select ESPN+/Hulu streams. |
| International viewer | The NHL’s country-specific viewing guide | NHL.TV is on DAZN in territories listed for 2026–27; the league marks the territory list subject to change. |
| Audio broadcast | 88.7 FM WRHU, 103.9 FM LI News Radio, Islanders + UBS Arena app, NHL app, or SiriusXM | The Islanders list these as live audio options for every game. |
Watch locally in the United States
The Islanders identify MSG Networks as their local TV partner and DAZN as the local streaming route for the 2026–27 season. In a July 29, 2026 announcement, the team said MSG Networks and YES Network would have an exclusive direct-to-consumer partnership with DAZN within the networks’ territories for the 2026–27 NBA and NHL seasons. It also said pay-TV subscribers who receive MSG or YES would continue to receive applicable content through DAZN at no additional cost. The announcement described migration details as forthcoming, so confirm your account’s current access rather than assuming a particular transition has completed.

National placements can override the usual local or out-of-market route. The Islanders’ August 26, 2026 season schedule announcement counted 10 nationally televised games: two exclusive ESPN broadcasts, five exclusive ESPN+/Disney+/Hulu broadcasts, and three exclusive TNT broadcasts. Those are season totals, not a promise that one service carries every Islanders game. Use the schedule entry for the exact matchup, especially when the listing names a national service.

For out-of-market U.S. viewers, ESPN+ is the stated route for Islanders games, but the NHL’s viewing guide notes an exception: certain regional games appear on NHL Network outside local markets and are unavailable on ESPN+. When a game does not appear in the expected app, check its listing and the service’s current eligibility guidance; blackout rules can depend on location, package, and game.
Watch from outside the United States
Do not assume U.S. services or rights apply internationally. Use the NHL’s country-specific guide to check the available service for your country and the game. For 2026–27, the NHL lists NHL.TV on DAZN in specified territories, and says that list is subject to change. Confirm both territory eligibility and the individual game before subscribing.

Follow goalie statistics
For league-wide goalie statistics, use the NHL goalie statistics page. For Islanders team statistics, use the club’s official statistics page. These are the official destinations for checking the relevant numbers, but their reviewed pages do not promise a precise refresh cadence or delay between an on-ice event and a displayed statistic. If you need a value during a game, check the active interface rather than assuming it updates instantaneously.
