To watch golf on a smart TV, phone, or tablet in the United States, first find the tournament and the specific coverage you want, then check which service carries it. ESPN—including PGA TOUR LIVE streams in the ESPN app—and Peacock are two common routes, but their event lineups differ. You may need a paid subscription or an eligible TV-provider login, and the app must support your device.
Choose a service based on the tournament and feed
There is no single subscription identified here that carries every golf event. Broadcast rights and schedules vary by tournament and market, so check the current event listing before subscribing or opening an app.
| Service | Golf coverage to check | Access to verify |
|---|---|---|
| ESPN app or ESPN.com | PGA TOUR LIVE and other ESPN golf programming; the available feeds depend on the event. | Full streaming access requires a current eligible subscription. A participating TV package that includes ESPN may allow you to authenticate in the app; available content mirrors that TV service. ESPN: Watch ESPN in the ESPN app |
| Peacock | Its golf page lists PGA TOUR, KPMG Women’s PGA Championship, and USGA events. Check the specific tournament and broadcast window. | Peacock describes Premium as including live sports and events. Verify the current event listing and plan access. Peacock golf |
ESPN and PGA TOUR LIVE
PGA TOUR and ESPN describe PGA TOUR LIVE as coverage in the ESPN app, which can include additional live coverage and feeds. Do not assume a particular tournament has every extra feed: check its current page or schedule for the available coverage and subscription requirements. ESPN’s golf page also describes ESPN Select subscribers as having ESPN+ access, including PGA TOUR and other programming; confirm the specific event in the current listing. Peacock’s golf page advertises several tours and event categories, but that is not a guarantee that every event, broadcast window, or alternate feed will be available. Look up the event on Peacock before relying on it. Peacock golf

Set up golf streaming in five steps
- Identify the event and coverage. Decide whether you want the main broadcast, a featured group, a featured hole, or another live feed.
- Check the current listing. Look at the event’s official schedule and the relevant service’s listing for the date and feed you want. Coverage is not universal across tournaments.
- Confirm access. Check whether the stream needs a subscription or whether your eligible TV-provider login grants access.
- Open the app on a supported screen. Install it from the TV’s app store or the phone or tablet’s app store, sign in, then find the event under sports, golf, or live content.
- Use another screen if needed. If the TV cannot run the app, check whether a supported streaming device or casting option you already have can play it.
If the golf stream will not play
- The event is missing: Check the service’s current event listing and the event schedule. The service may not carry that tournament, date, or feed.
- You see a sign-in or access prompt: Verify that your subscription includes the stream, or try the participating TV-provider login if your package includes ESPN.
- The app is unavailable on your TV: Check the model and operating system against the official device list. A supported streaming device may be an alternative.
- Your phone or tablet is unsupported: Check the service’s current minimum OS requirements and supported-device list; an older OS or a specifically excluded device can prevent use.
These services and device requirements describe U.S. options. If you are watching from another country, check the local broadcaster and the event’s availability in your market rather than assuming the U.S. listings apply.
