You can subscribe to AMC+ directly or, in some markets, through a channel platform. AMC+ describes Canadian access through Apple TV Channels and Amazon Prime Video Channels in its FAQ; those options should not be assumed to apply in other countries. AMC+ also cautions that its catalog varies by territory and that not every series always has every season.

How to watch Season 8 without an AMC+ subscription
Buy the season digitally
Prime Video’s Season 8 listing offers a season purchase in HD and shows 12 episodes. The listing accessed in 2026 displayed a $29.99 purchase price; that is a snapshot, not a guaranteed current price. The page also shows an AMC+ trial option, which is separate from buying the season. A Prime Video listing for a purchase does not mean the season is included with a Prime membership.
#1 Best Overall
Buy the season on disc
The complete eighth season was released on Blu-ray with a digital copy and on DVD on February 27, 2024. Release details reported launch suggested retail prices of $44.99 for Blu-ray (+ Digital) and $38.98 for DVD; these are historical suggested prices, not current retail prices. Check the retailer’s listing for current local stock, price, and included edition details. An Amazon marketplace format listing surfaced both formats.

| Option | How access works | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| AMC+ | Subscription streaming; AMC and AMC+ list the full series, including Season 8. | Whether the season and subscription method are available in your country, and the current subscription terms. |
| Prime Video digital purchase | One-time purchase of Season 8 in HD; Prime Video’s 2026 listing showed 12 episodes. | Current local price and purchase terms. The listing’s AMC+ trial is a separate subscription offer. |
| Blu-ray (+ Digital) or DVD | Physical copies of the complete eighth season were released in 2024. | Local availability, price, and edition contents. The Blu-ray release was described as including a digital copy. |
Subscription access and a purchase are different: a subscription provides access under the service’s terms, while a digital purchase or disc is a separate transaction. Do not assume a digital purchase will remain available forever through a retailer, or that subscription access persists if a title leaves a catalog.
