To recreate the Absolute Cinema meme in 007 First Light, update to version 1.3.0 or later, open Photo Mode, and choose Pose 21. Prima Games identifies it as the pose with Bond’s hands spread out and one leg crossed over the other. Then frame the shot so both the gesture and crossed leg are visible.
What you need to know first
Photo Mode arrived with Update 1.3.0, the free Extended Operations update released October 1, 2026. IO Interactive Player Support says the mode freezes a moment and lets you frame Bond, locations, and action from your own angle. Its listed options include camera settings, overlays, filters, visual effects, and poses. Read the official Update 1.3.0 patch notes.
Update the installed game to version 1.3.0 or later before looking for Photo Mode. If the mode or pose list is missing, first check that the update has installed.
How to recreate the meme
- Open Photo Mode. The official notes describe the feature but do not provide a platform-specific button or menu path. Use the controls shown in your installed game.
- Select Pose 21. Prima Games identifies Pose 21 as the Absolute Cinema pose among the 22 poses it reports in the mode. Look for Bond with arms extended to the sides and one leg crossed over the other. See the Prima Games pose guide.
- Set the camera and framing. Keep Bond’s hands and crossed leg in frame; cropping either can make the pose harder to recognize. Adjust the camera angle and distance, and use the available overlays, filters, or visual effects to suit the scene.
- Adjust the hands and expression. Prima Games reports that Photo Mode lets you change each hand independently and adjust Bond’s facial expression. Open hands emphasize the broad gesture; choose an expression that fits the tone you want.
- Consider a seat for a seated composition. Prima Games reports that rotating Bond can help position him on a chair or sofa, and that the game may snap him into place on suitable furniture. It is not guaranteed to work on every seat or surface.
- Capture the image with your platform’s screenshot controls. The sources do not establish a specific in-game save or export workflow, so check the controls in the game and use your platform’s screenshot process.
Composition choices that help the pose read
- Pose and hands: Keep the spread-arm silhouette clear, and make sure the hands are not hidden behind Bond or the background.
- Camera angle and crop: Choose a view that shows both the extended arms and crossed leg rather than concentrating on Bond’s face alone.
- Background and seating: A less cluttered, contrasting background can make the pose easier to see. A chair or sofa is an optional staging idea, not a requirement.
These are framing suggestions, not required settings. The official feature description confirms camera and visual options but does not prescribe a particular meme setup.

What else comes with Update 1.3.0
Extended Operations also adds New Game+ and a new “00” difficulty. IO Interactive Player Support says the update includes over 700 fixes and improvements; that figure covers the update as a whole, not Photo Mode specifically. The support page describes Extended Operations as the first major free DLC. Check the official patch notes for the full update details.
